That is the way it should be, no problems. But, still if you are facing stalling problem (which I suspect is never the case) then you can do as you want it tobe i.e. 1300rpm.

also... did u buy the projectors with the headlight assembly?

or did the mod guys add the projectors to your existing the headlight assembley?

                  .
Yeah, I've installed HID too and 8000 kelvin were used.. The spread is very good goes nearly 200 meters..
The projectors were installed into the existing headlight.

                  • I have a 09 model R15 which is now a year old but its the same lot with engine no. starting from 20P1.. my fren recently brought his R15 which is some B1~B2 kind just 2 months old now. He offered me to ride his babe as he assumed it had some problem with pick up and other issues.

My Verdict: The clutch shift was entirely smoother (reason its new, mine clutch wire needs to be replaced, its jammed and hard to pull). I found his bike had an issue with pick up. It was resisting not to pull. And, crossing 80 was not that easy and the bike was always on a tardy zone.
Compare to mine, which is much smoother on higher RPMs and it reaches 100kmph in no time and with no issue. May be his bike is just 1200kms old so i am doubting the culprit.
One common issue that was seen in both bikes (not sure if you all face the same issue or not). Follow this steps:
Shift to first when you are grounded. Accelerate but quickly change to 2nd while u are running 10kmph. Now try to accelerate, the bike gives a lot of jerks compared to other bikes. Also, while riding on cities when traffic is slow (not halt) I often have to shift to 1st gear coz it really struggles to pull in 2nd gear. In order to pull it in that scenario, I have to take half clutch and accelerate and increase the rpm to 4k band and then leave the clutch.

What sort of problem am facing?? A trusted mechanic told that it's an issue of clutch bell which is common on all R15's... Members plz throw some light...

IIRC, at the Yamaha Fiesta, they said Yellow had a 1week to 10 day waiting period. The other colours were readily available, & ready for delivery in 2-3 days (for regn) after payment.
LE is out of production it seems, & the showrooms have no stock anymore.

Its way too low. You should get it adjusted to 1300-1400 RPM. Its a 2-minute job, but ensure its done on a sufficiently warmed-up engine.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                              • hey guys, I have been noticing that many people out here are getting a long waiting period...I think you guys must be living in south India most probably...As I live in Lucknow and the Yamaha company is also in the same state, there is no waiting period over here....All the showrooms are full with the bikes and also every colour is available except the LE because I think it need to be ordered..
