BTW, this happened in march 2009, when waiting period in my city was 60days...

I am trying a trick tomorrow...they said today that yellow R15 will take 10 to 15 more days hopefully...what i am thinking is trying out the other showroom and threatening them of cancelling the booking (which they are returning 100%)

...let me see what happens

hi all
my yelow r15 is 10 months old and the battery has discharged for the 3rd time..Should i claim my warranty and go for a replacement..The battery comes from MINDA and if replace i am gonna get the same company battery..
wat to do?

hehe yea i know !

the showroom here keeps the bikes at the dealer's house !

i tried each and every showroom in the city ! there was not a single R15 available lol!

Any changes in the electrical's ? Did you change the horn, halogens, anything ? If yes, i would suggest you to get back to stock. Plus don't use deeper for few days, while driving at night.

Guys, whenever I start riding my bike & shift to 2nd & accelerate I hear a very slight tick tick sound which vanishes as I shift to 3rd. It also happens when I downshift to 2nd & give throttle. But the thing is that my bike is not missing @ lower rpm like before as I recently replaced my ignition coil. Why its happening? BTW I hear this tick tick sound sometimes (not regularly) only when I am in 2nd gear. Please reply.

my R15's battery was weak from many days and my bike is just 3 months old and battery going week i went SVC yesterday they say they will charge it. what should i do get it recharged or ask them for a replacement? because if its weak in 3 months[ no midifications to electricals etc] so there will be some problem with battery.?

Buddy,

It's Clearly due to Bad Battery. I had this problem . The service center guys won't replace it unless and until they charge it and see it's not working. Mine got Charged Thrice (In three DIfferent Service Stations) even if they know it was the the bad battery. They Changed my Battery Twice to get a good replacement battery. they have also replaced my Rectifier too.
Make sure you ask the SVC guys to Check the battery and rectifier and get it replaced(With a GOOD ONE).

Need a bit of help/suggestion from you guys..The rear brake of the bike squeals when applied..Long creaky kinda sound as if something is rubbing with pads badly.Pads have been changed a few 100km before.They are brand new but still..

Front tires are punctured every now and then.Every two days after the fill,air leaks out of it god-knows-why! Checked it a million times with the puncture-waala but he couldn't find any puncture! Do you think some problem with the alloy? Bike feels wobbly or their's some problem in the rotation of front..Even with right tyre pressure it wobbles here and there(note-while taking immediate turn-ins and corners;on straights it's not noticeable)..Also,the front discs,if applied,kinda jams..Guess,the front pads are to be changed..

PS: On behalf of my friend..He's not a xbhpian yet...

1.for the brake squeal, try cleaning the disc with surf .while applying the detergent, try to tap the brake slowly and tun the wheel by hand.the idea it to remove grime from the pads.
2.for the punture, try looking for any bends/chipping of paint on the inner lip of the rim, someone in this post has said that greasing the lip is helpful.
3.check you wheel bearings & the t-stem bearing.
4.is the master cylinder getting jammed ? if so, the you need to change the cylinder kit.

no i havent changed anything...its same as when i bought it
