Sorry for the OT...i hope this reply isnt OT anyways thats what I am doing I am going through the ownership thread and have reached 161 Page and What i found so many are having problems with their R15 like someones disc pad is spoiled while someones tires are cracking blah blah...thats makes me tense....

Anyways thanks for that i will keep myself occupied by reading more and more
I too almost read the whole ownership thread before getting it! Though, I got spot delivery of the bike!

BTW, I guess, by the time you reach the end of the thread, you'd no more be tensed!

          I have already fitted

          The details--
          Philips 12V 55/60W Crystal vision.
          Cost--Rs. 900 or 950 (INR), can't exactly recall.

The illumination is good, if the road has a white-line separator (lane separator), else the normal stock lamps (on black tar road w/o any marking) is/was better.

This bulb illuminates the marking quite good, but I fear won't be very good in foggy winter nights/mornings. But then I won't be riding then.

well, might have been asked before but doesn't it drain the battery??
btw you have the 55/60 in both the holders??
have you tried any other combinations??

well, no, no such issues have been reported after the change..
the main culprit was the horn mounted on the radiator which was causing leakage..now that has been changed..

@Zenashb - hmm..may or may not be an OT!! lets leave it for the mods to decide
after monday and tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!!

No, as I don't use high-bean till I am over 5000 revs. Not inside city confines for sure.

@shrinath--My dealer was proactive & post one crash reported & seeing the damage, they put a clamp & the radiator's position was changed.
Thankfully, I haven't crashed & hope not to.

Over extended use it does drain the battery.

I was using them earlier & than later switched to 35 w bi xenon HIDs

                  • I'm having the sound which comes while self-check is being performed continuously while riding and its very irritating.. I tried opening the tank and releasing the pressure to see if it was making the noise but it was still there..

Why is the sound coming and How can I stop it? The sound goes as soon as I turn of the ignition.

I don't think that it's the fuel pump sound that you're experiencing. The fuel pump sound is too low to be distinguished from the wind noise even at 60kmphr. Get it checked asap, or don't ride much till you get it checked.

I might make it to the dhaba this sunday, tab dekh lenge

                            • Cramster Luggage

Guys, has anyone got Cramster saddlebags installed on their R15? I am planning to buy the Cramster Colt Saddlebag specifically and need to know (1) if they touch the silencer when loaded (2) issues with regard to ease of installing and removing (3) durability.

Would be a great help if I can get some feedback before I commit to purchase.

Cramsters fit perfectly onto R15 without any issue.

For me I have custom made bags oval shape .each one holds approx double to that of cramster bags.
