I bought my bike from Perfect Riders too, albeit in May 2010. Would my bike be eligible for fairing replacement too? Coz the mesh below the radiator isn't present..

Ok, I will check up when I go this weekend to get the handle grips fitted.
I'll try to get hold of my friend's cam&click some pics of the seat cover, since as you know I have 2 basic phones without camera facility

@akshay , may be yes,atleast you should give a try or call them and ask for sampat (service engineer, bangalore wheels)9886983123.

Went on a long ride today 55kms each way, on some curves I felt the front end heavy, even though I am still riding relativley slowly, at some points it was almost like a battle to complete a curve with my desired line, so will definatly try and get the front tyre replaced soon and the rear back to where it belongs, the zapper vyde can be sold on, trouble is I can't find the tyre in the market, had a little look around today, these tyre shops try to sell you anything!

Yep I want to go for a projector set up, with both lights working on low beam and also on high, a 5amp battery seems the way to go, as well as LED's in the side lights, indicators and tail/stop lamps, should work without problems, had a look at a kit today 8.5 grands no projectors and the bulbs were 10k blue light! LED's seem to be a problem sourcing here at the moment, will have a look elsewhere.

Engine heat felt in leg through fairings!!!!!

I really fed up of a single matter in ma bike!!! I use to wear shorts to have a comfortable rides in mornings!!!!! When i take a ride i really feel the engine heat in ma leg which comes from the fairings opening!!!! i really felt a lot!!!!!!!!

Check your oil/coolant and English levels, maybe think of your safety in the event of an accident and don't wear shorts.

ya just small modification just remove spunch type cussion(black one) under the battery and amaron battery will get inside

Cool that helps alot, was going to ask the same question, if you know the model number of the battery please post, saves getting any welding/mods done.

heat comes when radiator fan switch on
check coolant level and switch to semi synthetic or full synthetic oil if then also heat come then there might be two problems
1 radiator might be choked
2 heat sensor might be faulty

Thanks for the info! When I need to replace my batt, I will go for this one then.

Also, how about fitting a 7A batt then? I am sure you have tried that out too!

The bike will get hot in stop and go traffic, else it should not get that hot. Also, please do not ride wearing shorts!

hey my r15 is 14500kms old...so according to manual its mentioned to change the airfilter and spark plug on 12k kms,which i amgonna do in 15k kms...but is it reaally necessary??
