    • Request and need for a separate thread regarding HID's, tires, battery, paint and more blah is indeed needed.

Yes, I know there is the garage thread.

            1) The fairings on both sides, & the side panels - The new ones have minute changes in shape, & I believe are of a stronger material. No visible changes.
            2) Black platsic panel behind the front wheel, & below the radiator - The new one has a mesh, as someone had posted earlier.

All the above parts were sent by Yamaha in 1 single carton, with a part number & the part name as "R15 Burning Kit ..."

I was told that all 2008 & 2009 models of the R15 are eligible for the change.
If the above still doesn't answer your question, please reach out to a Yamaha SVC

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Yep I want to go for a projector set up, with both lights working on low beam and also on high, a 5amp battery seems the way to go, as well as LED's in the side lights, indicators and tail/stop lamps, should work without problems, had a look at a kit today 8.5 grands no projectors and the bulbs were 10k blue light! LED's seem to be a problem sourcing here at the moment, will have a look elsewhere.
I don't remember how much the stock battery is rated at, but it'll hold up. If by 5 Ah you mean an "upgrade" of the battery, it wont make any sense. You'd just have more time before the battery dies(in case your discharge rate is higher than your charging rate). That doesn't mean it'll never die out, maybe it'll last some 15mins or 30mins more than stock before dying, but it'll die nevertheless and will even take longer than stock to charge fully. Unless you rewind the coil and increase the charging amperage, this is what would happen.

And please, DO NOT go for those chinese projectors. Those are pure waste of money(I'm talking only about the optics, not about the HIDs yet). Their transmittance is too poor, because of the cheap quality glass and reflector material used.

The way a 5Ah battery makes sense compared to the stock 3.5Ah battery is in this scenario - we occasionally ride at lower rpm (below 3k rpm) during traffic, with say 2 HIDs. This causes the battery to discharge. A higher capacity battery will endure this for longer period. And, you need not bother turning off the HIDs during those crawling jams.

The R15 alternator is powerful enough to recharge the battery as soon as the rpms start climbing.

                  +1 regarding the chinese projectors.

@tibby, not done a masters bro, just struggle with sms slang and the like, also if people are writing in Hindi, could you please translate as I don't speak the language

@digislayer, the reason I want to up the battery output, is because I want to run both headlights in low beam, as and when I upgrade to Bi-xenons, it was just an observation about the crap that most car accessory shops keep over here in Goa, worst is that the shop owners have no knowledge of the products they stock, the kit didn't even have projectors! but they sell like hot cakes! I'm also a noobie
Beware of Bread, don't say I didn't warn you!
More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !
