Aditaya, how about some pics of the beam shots of the projectors and also some night shots of the LEDs on the tail lamp.Originally posted by aditaya.chopra View Postsome acessory on my bike
led indicator
led break light(made by self)
quard tank pad
clutch & break lever
stearing cener bolt
break oil cover
and
angel eye HID with rings that also self made
Why did you sticker the reflector instead of painting it? Also, why did you remove the red plastic lens from the tail lamp?
Wow! Especially liked the chromed parts. Is that exhaust Joelled?Originally posted by xszpranajit View PostCustom paint work done by Ta-e mizoram

Nice idea for the reflector. Looks different.
I think the tail lamp will look better with the red part - now the circuit board shows though.
Low beam looks good, if you have pics of the HI beam, post that too!
So, are you running 2 HIDs on stock battery, or do you have something different?Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

Having a tire designed for rear wheel operation at he front is an absolute NO! The front tires are supposed to have better water channeling(the groove that runs at the center of tire), and is designed to make the steering easier. With your current setup, your tire'll float when you go through puddles of water, and you'll have difficulty in turning the steering, plus some heaviness upfront. Also, the wheel's profile(curvature) changes, thus hampering the handling. This'll ultimately effect your front fork parts too.Originally posted by stefanm View PostVery difficult to tell for me as a novice, whilst the grip is good, i get a slightly uneasy feeling at times, maybe because of inexperience or maybe having the rear tyre up front, i have seen a few R-15's here with the exact same set up, not much point asking though as it's more about ego's than actual performance. Think I will go for the stock set up.
Just stick to the stock tires if performance is all you want, people actually race on these tires on track and they're also designed to withstand really high speeds without blowing off due to heat.
And about the illumination, your best bet would be to get a projector+HID setup. You wont have any battery issues as long as it's a 35W HID. Dipping/Flashing wont be a problem if the projectors are "bi-xenon" projectors. HIDs on reflectors is not advisable, but that would be your next best option...even though it's dangerous for oncoming traffic.Sunny.

Congrats! So did you get the same old matt finish side fairings or pick up the white stripe ones?Originally posted by tibby View PostI got my bike's 10th service done today at Bangalore Wheels, & the Service Manager mentioned that my bike is eligible for parts replacement.
The parts that were changed under warranty are:
1) The fairings on both sides, & the side panels - The new ones have minute changes in shape, & I believe are of a stronger material. No visible changes.
2) Black plastic panel behind the front wheel, & below the radiator - The new one has a mesh, as someone had posted earlier.
All the above parts were sent by Yamaha in 1 single carton, with a part number & the part name as "R15 Burning Kit ..."
I was told that all 2008 & 2009 models of the R15 are eligible for the change.
Btw, I got a seat cover&handle grips for my bike from Orion-can't wait to get them on!
Quench my thirst with gasoline!

It is aftermarket, but is being sold in the showroom itself. It has been made to the shape of the bike's seat, and fits perfectly. It even has Yamaha written on the centre, and R15 written on the sides.Originally posted by aditaya.chopra View Postis seat cover is from yamha or after market one plz post pic of it
I will post a pic of it once I get it fitted onto my bike this weekend mostly.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
