Thanks for the info! When I need to replace my batt, I will go for this one then.

Also, how about fitting a 7A batt then? I am sure you have tried that out too!

The bike will get hot in stop and go traffic, else it should not get that hot. Also, please do not ride wearing shorts!
ya i tryed but for this we have to cut plastic part and i dont want to do that

But I dont recommend using 2 battery like this - only case we can use 2 battery is when both are identical.

      • Hi Guys
Yesterday i tried to check my bikes top speed....I could take it to 136 on the odo
But i have a question here...
In 5th gear i could take it to 130 KM/H and the RPM meter was showing the needle in red line. then i shifted to 6th gear and the needle dropped to 8k-9k(somewhere in between) and did not go past, speed was around 130+.
Is there any limit set for 6th gear? In all other gears i could take the needle to red line easily.

I was wondering if the same could be used in our r15's as well?

I'm attaching a couple of pics, sorry for the quality, they are clicked with a mob cam

            • Last time my friend's bike had its injectors cleaned-there is a spray just like a deodorant bottle. I think once in 20-25K kms.its enough if we get that done.

Where do they spray the deodrant injector cleaner? into the petrol tank or do they remove the fuel tank and clean the injectors seperately?

I've made a little adjustment to my headlight guys, I'm not riding at highways these days so I figured that I don't really need the high beam. What I need is a good low beam so that I'm more comfortable with the night ride. As you all know there perhaps nothing we can do in this regard without doing some or the other electrical modification to the bike, and in doing so **** around with the warranty of the electricals.

So what I've done is lowered the high beam reflector in such a way that now it points the high beam right where the low beam point. SO I have both the light working in low beam. of course I don't have a high beam, but I think high beam is all that necessary with city riding.

Correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.

i am using the same setup...the only problem is that u need to switch to low beam for a PASS.

Great minds think alike i guess

and yeah the pass thingy is a bit of a bother

@ all: I chanced upon this while browsing xbhp:

Something like this can be awesome for holding a digicam for some riding footage. The frame is a Pulsar 135 tail.

Anybody got any idea how this can be done?

The link from where I 'borrowed' these pics: link

I dont think so that there is any limit set for the 6th gear.. i have touched 146 on my bike and it does reaches the red line ..

The R15's 6th gear is very tall and the engine doesn't have enough torque to pull it to the Red-line in 6th. 6th is just a cruising gear. Unless you're on a descent, you cant touch the Red-line in 6th.
