I hope you don't mean mean the tail unit!Originally posted by Ascetic View PostDoes anyone know whats the price of the stock tail lamp?
Anyways, here is the detail I had captured as per the parts catalogoue link by digislayer:
Part# 3C1-H4714-00 - Rear Light Bulb - Rs. 37.80
You can pick one from any auto spare parts shop. Just stick to the power specifications mentioned the manual. You should get it for max 20 bucks.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

mmm great brother, this Sunday I decided to get my R15 a thorough check up done as the idling was fluctuating while riding. And when showed it to the guy, he told the culprit is my touring habit hehehe since the last tour it was mostly ridden in offroad and dust and rain, and ofcourse yes the bad quality of fuel I got while coming back, the injector got choked up. It was good to see the 6-pore injector functioning, now its flying again. In my bike I still have 2 punctures in rear and 1 in front, the tyre is going food for now, but I liked the option you gave, thanks... take care and ride safe

Hmm, even if the new R15 has the same tyres, I will not go for the MRF for the rear atleast. It will be either Michelin or Pirelli.Originally posted by Shivanshu View Postmmm great brother, this Sunday I decided to get my R15 a thorough check up done as the idling was fluctuating while riding. Hi Digislayer, just for your information, i can see why you think that its 4 and I won't blame you for that. This is what happens when you go by the paper source compared to what you have actually examined. As seen in the picture attached, the small 5 red circles are the clutches and you can clearly see that in the part list its written plate friction 2 and 3. Add those numbers 4 + 1 = 5.Originally posted by digislayer View PostI guess you got confused between Clutch plates and Friction plates. Check the link I posted in my previous post, it'll show you the blown-out parts diagram, along with part numbers and part descriptions. It's from the workshop manual.
See, undermining this material source, I wanted to share what I have seen with my own eyes while the mechanic opened my crankcase in front of me. So, there are a total of 4+1 = 5 Clutch friction plates.----------------------------------------------------

Hey, there seems to be a communication gap, I always said there're 5 friction plates, as quoted below(check the words highlighted in red, underlined). You called them "clutch friction plates", while I called them "friction plates".Originally posted by freakzil View PostHi Digislayer, just for your information, i can see why you think that its 4 and I won't blame you for that. You almost got me there... hehe... anyways.. you are right in your way and me on my way.. actually, there is indeed 5 clutch leather... with 5 plates and the one you are pointing out is the supporting plane ring that separates each friction plates...Originally posted by digislayer View PostHey, there seems to be a communication gap, I always said there're 5 friction plates, as quoted below(check the words highlighted in red, underlined). Why, I wanted to make it clear is because.. I have seen it as there was 5 different clutch leather that the mechanic removed and then installed and also got my attention notice saying... see in your bike you have 5 clutch.... pointing to them... it must be a mistake in name... As Shakespeare said.. what's in name.. haha... chill.... thanks but.. Peace...----------------------------------------------------

Orange light isn't OVERHEATING. Its ELECTRICAL FAULT. My guess is, if you've not touched any wiring, that your battery has depleted charge. Get the electrical wiring checkedOriginally posted by free2rock_50 View Postmy system gets overheated .. the Orange light is Lid up all the time .. even for the coolant .. the light is most of the times lid up ..
on my first service i had changed oil and filter .. so what could be causing this problem ?
