Actually, i would say it's the best start, because you are still typing and your bike will be back again... So chill and relax, there are so many bad things that could have happened during that accident, but we are glad you are safe.

Speedo sensor gone kaput. I've had this happened to me as well. Sometimes even a fall while being parked is enough to break the plastic sensor located near the axle of the front tire. Costs 550 and can be claimed under warranty if there's no physical damage.
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

This beauty is parked next to my baby R15 every day in the basement. Belongs to my friend who recently bought it. I drool at it every time I see it. Like a goddess. And then I ride my R15 dreaming of it morphing into the R1 someday!

Ask me man, on a 5day tour, met with rain and thunderstorm from 2nd day evening onwards, so the rest of the 3 days were ridden in rain and chilling wind touching the redline

Knight I got it custom made, the only thing I had to do is to keep a small cushion from the rear seat of a scooter, on my back seat for a more heighted sitting of the saddle bag. This saddle bag can hold upto 36kgs of weight 18kgs each side. And the cushion was kept so that the saddle bag didnt touch the silencer on the right side, which I experienced in my first ride. Now, I have toured with this saddle bag more than a couple of time, there is no discomfort. it adds on to the back comfort with the rear cushion. Performance, well while touring I dont rip it but it still touches 120kmph easily fully loaded saddle bag, in hills it was touching 60-80kmph easily on tarmac wherever possible, so I really dont see any drop in performance. Its more like you are riding with pillion. This saddle bag also doesnt cause any im-balance on curves and while leaning, so am very happy with it.

                    Very truly said brother

                    • query...

hey guys...I've recently started my quest as an xbhpian and I hope to learn a lot from here.

I have a Yamaha YZF-R15, its a year and a half old and doing great.
Although I had a few queries about some technical matters.

                      01. Which Engine Oil viz. castrol, motul etc. is best suited for the bike, except the one that Yamaha provides?

                      02. If I install a K&N, would there be any requirement for remapping the ecu? As I've heard that in fuel injected ecu governed engines, the ecu itself adjusts the fuel supply if the air supply is increased (as in this case). But I've not gone much further to the minorities in this regard, so would appreciate any statements.

                      Please advise guys.

(I've added up a few images, not too good though)

worry not its usually a loose cable ... take it to svc and pray that the sensor is still intact ...
