Buttttttttt, in reality on an open road, an Alto with its 800cc engine will blow by you (the driver has to be determined and skilled) and you can't do much.

Nano, M-800 (to some extent*) and Nano/Omni (obvious). Else all Cars can blow past, believe me.

Though they can't take lead because of the road conditions and traffic.

Guys, a strange thing happened today. While riding I heard a slight rattling sound something as if a nut bolt or screw is loose. This sound can be heard within 5k-7k rpm only. I checked digital console, visor, mirrors, fairing but everything seems fine. What could be the reason?

^^ a little m-seal would do wonders on that. join it with aralidte and then apply m seal around that like clay. Repaired entire ZMA fairings with it. This will hold too.

bro any tyre repair shop will do it for you , where do you stay in bangy ??? is indiranagar or JC road close by ??? sai and iyengar does the mushroom puncture fix . (i.e from the inside ) , have got this done recently and thus far it's working like a charm ... only downside , it's expensive . 300 bucks per puncture ...

Sir try quick-fix (super glue) , that 5rs tube should be more than enough.......
I had exactly the same problem a while ago. The trick worked like a charm
If u don get satisfied with that, then reinforce it with some black insulation tape

Thanks for the suggestion.The rim seems to be ok dude.No visible cracks.Need to get the tyre checked ASAP else it might get worse.

Me staying near Marathalli.So Iyengar is a convenient option(just did a google on that).Actually m planning a ride to Goa.So need to get the leaks fixed although 300 is actually pretty expensive.

yeah Iyenger is gonna cost you big buck buddy! But you always have the option to get the tyre checked. I'm hoping they wont charge you for that ...

I would agree but it's like 50 -50 here, i usually like to drag with big engines, sometimes with Ninja, and usually i end up with the cars...

Drags are never about top speed, it has always been about correct shift and acceleration and when we are talking about the above 2 points, Stock cars have some serious issue here, (exclude that City, civic and exotic cars) they cannot shift fast. I have dragged with Swift (Lost), M800 (Won), Santro (Won), Alto (Won), Ninja (Lost), P220 (Lost), P200 (Won), RX100 (Won) - RX 100 (modded) -quarter mile - Lost) and Accent (Won)... If you see cars had a hard time keeping up reason was just because they had shifting disadvantage, if i were having a top speed race with the cars, they would destroy my Bike.

i have done same speeds on my R15 and alto within the same distance,alto: 130 kmph in 5th gear,R15 130 kmph 5th gear

if you have the broken piece,then you can get it plastic welded since its pp(poly proplene) see if anyone does it in your locality.

I had a few questions.
Would Angel eye be better or the normal HIDs.
I will be getting 35W/35W dual bulbs bulbs.
So can you guys tell me what is the size required HS1 is the stock size.
I read somewhere it is H4 for the HID

as usual not your fault while commuting at 50kmph at 8am in the morning, all empty street and suddenly out of nowhere despite numerous honks a "super" splendor guy crosses an un-signaled intersection at alarming speeds, i ask for way by honking, flashing the pass light yet he ends up stopping dead in between my path...
tried to veer away, failed, fell to the right
damage:- both mirrors gone,
RHS fairing(with sticker) gone,
front mask- cracked -gone,
rest- silencer cover, tank and inner rhs panel - scratched
replaced the RHS fairing, lhs mirror, front mask for 1745/- (w/o insurance claim)
rhs mirror not available here

2 things:
1- i will be coming to mumbai on the 7th for a few days..
can you direct me to some factory spare part shop near powai??
2- the front visor, actually the whole front headlight, etc. assembly seems to be bent inwards from the right a bit..
don't know how to get it fixed.. and yeah one more thing, i got the left mirror replaced but the images in it seem to be zoomed in for some reason..what are the odds of getting a replacement??
