Guys need your suggestions- I got my bike serviced two days back (1st service- done 800kms). Just noted that the oil filter cartridge must be changed around 1000kms. This wasn't done/asked by the ASC guys.
How important is it to change it? I rode around 60 to 70 km after the service- Should I get it changed at the earliest?
A quick response would be very much appreciated!

Oil filter cartridge is the oil filter I think, which is to be changed at the time of first service. Strange that the ASS did not change the oil filter. The first oil filter change is critical, because all the metal particles that get grinded off as a result of the engine running in, eventually collect at the oil filter ( the oil carries them ). So thats why the oil and filter is replaced at first service.
If money is not an issue, change the oil as well for peace of mind sake. Its a new bike!
