It should last much longer, in my case it was only topped up once at the 2nd service, never after that till the radiator was replaced last time i.e., the bike was 2.5 years old!

R15's engine has a compression ratio of 10.4:1, so 91 octane is the best suited petrol. Use Xtra Premium or Speed for best results.

Actually for the compression ratio the R15 runs, normal petrol will do just fine. As long as we get pure petrol, not the adulterated crap most bunks dispense.

for your answer according to me first of all there is no need of it in india atleast and secondly NOS for a 150cc mill producing 17 bhp is quite unusual NOS is for higher cc engines and for professional racing where life of engine does not matter if you want to ride your bikes for few months and then scrap it then go for it
first of all sry for replying 10 months l8tr.....i will be putting up the same nos issue here in talkies.!! lets see about others viewpoint!!

actuallly for my nos the full full changes from nitrous oxide system to 'normal oxygen system'....that is how to put up nos on 100-150 cc bikes cheaply!!!

i couldn;t start up ma own thread so...will post here.!!

                  • NOS - Normal oxygen system

For a 150 cc engine ...can r thinking use NOS ?/...simply NO, if u are thinking about fast 'n furious showcased nos...those can create upto 300hp power with a press of button..which any common sensed guy knws , is not possible for r15.

it doesn't mean we cannot use it in a 150cc engine...is it a small thing to create a 2-3 hp power increase for a 17 bhp engine...and many guys with so much mods like special cams, ecu, exhaust, etc...hav made an increase more than 21hp in r15 costing a huge bulk amount worth half of bike!!
                    \So for the topic,
i'm just thinking to use pure oxygen instead of nitrous oxide ...taking in account of producing loww power increase cheaply and safely..

nitrous oxide is used for its o2 carrying capacity (and certain other advantages, will be explained if needed)... eventually it breaks up during combustion to produce o2 to further combust all fuel at once giving spilt sec power..

unlike n2o, o2 is easily available anywhere ...so its refilling is easier and less costlier..

for installing use a small cylinder( mr.butler soda maker's co2 cylinder will do the purpose)...fill it with o2 , u will need a solenoid valve with a switch to inject the o2 when needed....o2 can be supplied to injection manifold, a tube from o2 cylinder put into intake part will do..fit the o2 cylinder at a suitable place....thats it...ur NOS is ready !!

all these combined will cost u around 1000Rs to max....

NOTE: only thing u hav to remember is to use only nos at high rev..ie. when max fuel is injected..'n supply only small amount....veeeeeerrrry small 'n i mean it....u will be surprised wht a small amt can doo!!

Is there anyway to adjust the bite of rear disc brake? I mean if its pressed on to the disc (slightly) even when not in applied state can that be adjusted?

Along with this i use chamois leather to clean my bike so that you dont get scratches when you use normal cloth.

For rims i use kerosene and wipe it. Paint is still intact on the rims so nothing to worry too.

Regarding the chain noise - clean your chain and lube it with Motul Lube that too will disappear.

Thanx zero, really appreciate ur suggestion...
                                will definitely buy this weekend.....
