        even im leavin my bike for 3rd free svc on thur !! since my bike is sounding a lil rough from past 1 k km will switch to 5100t this time lets c if any improvements can be found since heard a lt abt in xbhp will give it a try btw 1.1 ltr is required right ?? how much does it cost ?? any idea wer to find it in Bangalore ?? and my bike knocks heavily when accelerating on a slop or any sudden acceleration between 3k to 5k rpm any idea how to get rid of tis ?? rode my friends ug4 180 no knocking at all is the prob oly wit my bike or all 200's any help whould be appreciated and my bike is done 4.7k km

        lol btw wish u a safe ride !!tat must be fun...personally done around 400km up and down on 1 day when going to hogenekal falls !! man 200 is jus perfect for a constant speed of 100+ on highway nice and stable !!

          Thanks mate! yes the 200 is the perfect mix of flickability, and torque... perfect for long rides... the feeling you get when u're riding at 90+ kmph, and you know that a slight twist of ur wrist, and there's more where that came from

          Motul 5100T (15W50 - semi-synthetic) should be readily available in JC road. MRP is 395 INR per litre, and the 200 requires 1150 ml per oil change. (actually 1300 ml but that's only if you overhaul the engine). get two cans, and use the remaining to top it up when needed.

          Bout the knocking, I had the same issue with mine, got rid of it with today's service, mine was running on mineral oil (servo) and hence was very rough after a couple of long rides, moreover mine used to stall, felt like it lacked power on slopes, or on higher gears at low speeds. the oil change and carb tune-up solved the issue, could have been that it was running lean, the air-fuel ratio was wrong. after this service. it feels like I can go on and on, and there's no end to the torque, while the power delivery has become smoother.

          Ask the PBK mech to clean your carb\filter\plugs.... that should solve your performance issues. and yeah, if u've never used semi-synthetic on ur bike, you'll be able to tell the difference with your eyes closed

          • ^^thanks mate for the super fast reply really informative ..wil go to jc road after coll tomo and pick up motul !! hope pbk guys will do the oil change for me !! since those guys use some wierd looking red colour oil and tat to they pour it in jugs ..

                Turn the plug with hand as far as it moves and then turn exactly half turn with a spanner/what ever other tool to tighten it.

                No other tuning is necessary.

                      Ur always welcome bro!

                      The PBK guys will change it for u.. just inform them while u leave ur bike with them, and take the oil with you when u go to pick it up... it takes 5 mins to change the oil... I was lucky enuf to have the bike serviced while i was there... so actually got to sit there (for 2 hours I guess) in front of the bike while the service was happening.. it was quite fun watching it

                              1> Whenever i give full throttle while riding kind of metal Sound comes from silencer like "tarrrr". Had a word with my probiking mechanic he says, "silencer ke mufler ka jaali nikal gaya hai " and my frnd told me tht screw might be loose of my silencer. Please Let me know wat could be the problem....
