Thanks very much DIABLO. The reason why I am replying so late - I did not have enough courage to take my babe to the lathe shop and torture her with some gas cutter. But finally last saturday I made up my mind and asked a local mechanic and he said he can do it but ""bahot mach mach hai" . So get rid of him and tried another shop and they suggested me to bring the swing arm only after removing everything from the bike. Finally I took a last attempt with the third shop and they said they can do it. When I asked about the colour thing, they assured me I will never come to know about that. And yes they kept their word, it looks as if nothing had happened. After asking them how did they do it, they explained it in your way . There is no rattling sound now beyond 100kmph. Thanks again for the suggestion. One more thanks to DK bhau too for suggesting me about the shops in Navi Mumbai, finally I did it in Babbloo Motors, Vashi.

      • ^^ Glad i could be of assistance
Update: The drive chain/sprocket is making a horrible grinding noise, i think it has nearly reached it's end, and so has the clutch plates, could someone tell me how much these parts cost?
I'm too intelligent to the unintended, and too dumb for the obvious.

              • Well the sound from the fairing.. well you can't to much bout it, all the P200s have the same issue.. after a crash no matter what u do, it gonna come up @ some point.
the cone set will set u back by around 300 INR.

That choo-choo sound must be cause of brake pads (dirt/worn-out).

I had the same recurring issue for months... U get a choo choo choo sound, it increased when the wheel spins faster and vice-versa. I thought there was something wrong with the bearings on the front wheel, I had told the PBK guys about this during one of the services, but nothing was done. Now during my last service, I made sure the guy opened the disc, caliper and cleaned the pads, and voila, the sound was gone.... what a relief after months of mental torture as to what cud be wrong.

so I guess, just servicing the front disc will solve your issue. Good luck!

Woah!!! 30k without even changing the pads?? well then do it 2moro itself, it actually screws up the DISC and it's a costly affair after that.
