HID Pics
Pictures for HID kits on my bike P150 DTSi 2004. I already have replaced my Stator Coil and Rectifier to that of Avenger model the older one which had 55/60W lights. Because of this i am not facing any battery drain issue. Anyhow i still haven't used it for more that an hour continously becoz my office is 30mins to 45mins ride from my home. i have installed 35W H/L beam 4300k custom made with all wiring kit. Just plug and play kit.
I have also installed LED dim lights which can be seen in one of the pic.
I couldn't take a pic in pitch dark as for that i have to go to a place which is more dark. so sorry for the pics. One wire is directly attached in the switch to make the connection direct.

today did the tuning myself..the bike feels a lot smoother now......but there's some confusion--Originally posted by Prabhakar150 View PostThis is what happened to my bro's bike when he gave for 4th service. He used to get 55 with his sane riding suddenly after service it dropped to 40. That resonating (knocking in less intensity) sound is the effect of lean a/f mixture . Go to the service center and get ur carb retuned or get hold of a good mechanic, he will do it in less than 10 min .
If u want to do it yourself then do
1.rise ur rpm to 4k by adjusting idling screw
2.turn the fuel screw to full lean, i mean till it locks completely when rotating in clock wise
3. Now ur rpm should be varying
4.gently turn the fuel screw anti clock wise till 2 complete turns
5. After 2 turns rotate the screw by 1/4 turns and u will get the constant rpm within 2 to 3 turns range
6.Remember 1 turn is a complete rotation of 360 degree
P.S : I used to tune my bike as mentioned above and always get the correct tuning with mileage of 50 + kmpl ..
after turning the fuel screw to full lean position, the rpm varies b/w 1900-2100.......at this position should i-
i)decrease the idling to 1200-1300 and then start turning the fuel screw for a rich mixture; OR
ii)start turning the fuel screw from thereon(i.e. from 1900-2100).....
hope u get my point/

First of all you should warm up your bike before start to tuning. Drive your bike for atleast 3 kms by varying the throttle, i mean you should bring the engine to its operating temperature.Originally posted by Chitrak View Posttoday did the tuning myself..the bike feels a lot smoother now......but there's some confusion--

Now screw it to complete lean position, rise the rpm to 4000 by adjusting idling screw so that you can observe the variation very well. Now unscrew the a/f screw to get constant rpm. Once you get constant rpm readjust the idling screw and bring the rpm back to 1200.
Pls dont over tight the screw as it will be damaged . Hope i made it clear.

Installed P220's rear sets , brake pedal and gear lever today ! The exhaust clamp has to be welded a bit backward and in both the sides , bushes has to be added to avoid the foot rest assembly hitting the shocks . Apart from these things its a direct fit !
Now the comfort level is better for my height (5.11) and offers better knee recess !

The surface is not even and slightly in wet condition .. The stand went below the surface hence looks so .. But yes i have set the shocks in modest, 3 steps ..!Originally posted by Prith View PostHey Prabhakar150, why is your rear tyre in contact with ground ? Did you jack up your rear springs ?
