Hey guys today i went to service centre to get my bike serviced. Its 5th service(paid one). They quoted 750 rupees for general check up, engine oil change and water wash itself. And Extra charges for Complaints if any.. Is this worth the money we pay? I left the centre and thinking of giving my bike in castrol bike zone.
What is your opinion guys? How good the bike zone is?

Yes i thought it would be around 300 bucks. For the kind of service they do its too much of money. And guys Handling of my bike becomes bad to worst. Even worse with a pillion. Highway riding too. When changing lanes i really lose my confidence. I know its mainly bcos of the crappy tvs tires but got a doubt. Is this the true nature of all pulsars or its just because of tires? Bike feels really underpowered.

guys I have a P150 UG3/ 2 years 40K km old.. its a covered chain.
am looking for a chain lube for my bike. anyone using one?
Also, can someone please tell me:
- which chain type we have (O ring etc)
- which chain lube rating is recommended by bajaj
- any pointers for a VFM chain lube which can also be applied easily.
thanks in advance.

If u are looking for gear oil buy SAE90 castrol gear oil.
For open chain bikes like p180,200,220,A 220 etc bajaj recommends OKS 450/451 chain lube.
There are so many lubes available in market and i found TVS chain lube is best VFM one.A LOST RACE IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN A LOST LIMB

Hi.. I use HP gear oil for lubricating chain. It lasts long and costs 70 bucks. I hav removed chain cover n have put up semi covered one. Since u use fully covered, gear oil is good enough. Chain spray is on costlier side which wil be easy to apply.. And i think P150 does not have o-ring chain..

Pulsar 150 Classic 2004
HI,
Its been a great pleasure to introduce my Pulsar 150 classic
Its a great looking bike in metallic blue color and happy about being the first few owner in town to have this new color in 2004
Its been great to own this bike as there has been no issues in the bike as far as performance is concerned ya there were with some of the parts but got the replaced with the new genuine one
Currently its yielding me a whopping mileage of about 60kmpl in city and 74kmpl on highway
I have been a proud owner of a pulsar which is on a run with 1,16000 Kms and still going on great
Would like to give it a new look and will be needing you guidance

guys.. have a problem with Disc brake.
i am feeling the disc brake in front tyre is offering too much friction.. when try to rotate the tyre with hand on standing bike, it just rotate once OR twice and then stops due to lot of friction.. I asked the mechanic to clean the brake pads and put them again.. he opened the assembly cleaned the brake, did some setting and put them back..
for 1 day/ 30 KMs bike was feeling like flying and no unnecessary friction from front disk brake, but problem has returned
any one faced this before? any sollutions?
i had an accident one month back and front disk was replaced
brake pad is also replaced 1 week back as it was completly gone.. I am not sure whats causing this issue??

2nd check-it sometimes happens if the brake pads are of other manufcture than OEM
3rd check --do check for the spring that operates while operation of the disk brake .
4th check-hydraulic valve assembly that crates the pressure for brake .
I wish I am able to help u after these checks ...
