Pressing the clutch while coming down a slope will serve no purpose. It just disengages the clutch( or rather frees the plates). Clutch plates are meant to be in constant friction.

Motul 3000t is around Rs.300/- i guess , not very sure. You can also try ELF moto 4 gold , which costs around 220/- .Drain interval of 2500-3000kms. I have been using it on my P150 from past 4-5k kms, no issues what so ever.-Originally posted by easy rider View Post

I brought the motul 3000t 20W40 recently for 200 bucks. The printed mrp is around 215 but the shopkeepers usually give it for 200.Originally posted by phanikar View PostMotul 3000t is around Rs.300/- i guess , not very sure.
.
But i would also suggest gulf pride 4T 20W40 as an alternative. The mechs told that its even better than motul & my bike became pretty smooth with it now. It retails for 240 bucks.NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

Am looted then. I brought the can for the printed price on it. Unfortunately i donot have the metro membership card. So.....
Those guys claim the 10K kms drain interval. But i wont suggest anything above 3K kms. This is just a marketing gimmick. Anyways IMO the best suited oil for the pulsar breed is valvoline. But still the gulf does the job very well.Originally posted by phanikar View PostIf i am not wrong you are speaking about the 10000kms drain interval right????NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

I replied to this in another thread that you opened. Reg the oil , yes the ELF is good and Valvoline is best.. The 2nd time i got ELF for just 145 rupees with special offer provided by ELF itself. The drain period of mineral oil is 1700-2000 km. I dont remember the exact price but all the mineral oils cost less than 220 rs. Valvoline makes the engine run smoother than ELF. What ever the oil you get, make sure you get in w40 grade otherwise the engine wont be rev freeOriginally posted by easy rider View PostThanks for the quick reply Prabhakar. Could you please tell me the approximate price of MOTUL 3000T plus 20w40? And after how long will i have to change it? Also, this maybe a stupid question but i was wondering if pressing the clutch when coming down a slope is bad for the clutch? Its because whenever I'm descending from flyover's i try to keep the rev's down let the bike move because of the slope and not the force of the engine and so i keep the clutch pressed.

Thanks for he info man! I think I'll go for valvoline then. I just washed my bike today with amway car wash liquid after two weeks and she's looking as shiny as everOriginally posted by Prabhakar150 View PostI replied to this in another thread that you opened.
