I did not completely understand the hole on one end thing. And i just checked your album, your bike is so awesome looking with those rearsets! even i want to have the same kind of setup. even the P200 handle bars. P200 isn't being produced now i think. Are the spare parts still being sold? these rearsets seem very interesting. can you please tell me the cost of each of them. How did you fix the exhaust part? with some metal plate? Did you do it on your own? or is it something that we cannot do at home. i do not have all types of spanners though. especially the one with which the rearsets are mounted.

Thats bad. Have you changed the engine oil now after crossing 700 km?

Sorry mate, Its my mistake, i have misread P180's chain as chain cover

Yes the P180/200/220 chains can be fitted but you should get their sprockets too! That will also change the gearing of the bike and those chains are bigger than the P150/135 chains. So you might face loss in power. If you want to put O Ring chains then get the chain(only) of latest P135. They would be in same size as P150s chain.

There is no problem in getting handle bar of P200 , you can get easily. The exhaust metal clamp holder is re-welded a bit away from its position to match the rear set length. We can even use simple metal clamp without any welding. I dint do it in home but it wont cost much to do in a mech shop.

The parts you need to get is
      1.Rear sets (~1300, each 625)
      2.Brake pedal of P180(~370)
      3.Gear level set(~450)
4.Get the bolt and nut that holds the rear set and swing arm, swing arm bush(Price don't know since the mech bought, i was not aware of this when i bought other parts)
5.Bolts and nuts for gear level and brake pedal(~130)
6.Max 150 bucks for labour (if you go for metal clamps instead of welding the exhaust)

I have attached the pic of exhaust below,

      • The amount you spend on rear sets is totally worth it. I love the new riding position and comfortable too. If you are thinking of doing this mod go ahead, you will like the change. I am now saving up for split seats

          Hi Prabhakar,

As promised, the daylight pics of the hugger. Please note that i finished this job in hurry because of excitement. So, you'll be finding rough edges in the project. That's no big deal. The edges can be smoothened out at any point of time.

I just now added Elf Moto4 engine oil as you said and lubricated the chain as well along with that.

And regarding the integrated indicators thing, i tried taking pic but i could not capture the indicator and the pics came out stupid.

Best thing would be to upload a video that you all can see.

Man you just towed it with the help of wire Why so much of hurry.. Even i spoiled the first chain cover and got the next one installed perfectly. FZ's tyre hugger does not fit properly due to the double shocks in Pulsar. Anyways i will try this out.

You will experience the smoothness Make sure you lubricate chain with gear oil. It will last longer.

Its hard to capture the indicator blinking. Almost impossilble if you have put LED indicators I feel the styling is incomplete without indicators. Bring out the video.

Hehe That wire string was definitely required for that side. There's no other option to it.

Even the ninja hugger mod by bluevolt had a zip tie at that end. The string is kind of reusable and easy to fit and tighten.

No, actually the integrated tail light DIY cost me nothing at all. No LED's it's just the same stock bulb type indicators.

Can you tell me where i could find orange colour LEDs? I do not know about the diodes and circuitry that has to be used to step down the voltage. So, i used the same bulb itself.

Yes, it looks quite good. But the design is a bit different. This looks sharper than the FZ's hugger. But this should fit our Pulsar much easily i guess. What could its cost be?

Hey, just check out the Kick rod of this P135. Will it help you since you have installed rearsets and have removed the kick rod. Will this kick rod help? Design is a bit different.

The link below has a very high resolution pic. Super detailed image.

You can get the LEDs at any bike stores mate. I have attached the pic of this LED, made for automobiles, 10 in 1 LED. A pair costs around 100rs. Thanks to Raneet for the pic It is a direct plug and play and no need for any resistors and diodes.

                              • Dude i just went to Bajaj spares shop but they dont have this hugger. They only had the fully closed mud guard of 1st gen p135 and it costs 250.. So the one that we are looking for should be around 160 or so.. Ended up buying a brake shoe for the rear This is the second brake shoe change in 16k kms1. Literally there was no braking power so got to change it. It will not make much difference anyways
