        • Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150 All Versions

I recently bought a pre-owned Pulsar 150 DTS-i around a fortnight ago, inspired by Xbhpians and their love for wheels. Reading several experiences and mods I decided to carry out a few. I plonked a 55/60 w H4 p43t into the headlamp assembly, illumination is much better now. I haven't changed the stator coil to that of the Avenger 180. I also removed the air filter top inlet and drove a distance. The sound from the muffler got dampened, the strokes got silenced. Overall biking became smooth, but since I didn't adjust the air fuel ratio screw, reverted back to stock. Also read about front sprocket change, stock is 15 teeth, I got 14 teeth from the 220 but the spares fellow refused to give loose front sprocket. What can be done to procure only the front sprocket?

The best oil from castrol retains for long time with smoothness but faces direct competition from motul 7100.

Semi-synth..synthtic blend..the black bottle..not the silver one.....if you are switching from mineral to synth....first switch to semi-synth.....thats a good thing to always follow....i used castrol p1 racing and mobil1 synths

Shell AX7 is a very good semi-synthetic oil.

Currently I'm using bajaj dtsi 10000 20w50 oil..(odo around 39000) I think its a semysynth.. Gulf pride 4t & castrol p1 racing are only readly available in my 'town'... If bajajoil is semisynth i think this is the time for change to fullysynth.. Am i right.?
