Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150 All Versions
I will clean and check air filter throughly and check the hose pip too. Thankz bro.Originally posted by V!RU$ View Post
And thankz s1, i got rid of the overheating problem and as it seem the bike running on good AFR mixture however a new problem emerged and literally stole a good night sleep. while at idle, the bike would make the infamous tik tik noise. And upto rpm 1800~ 2k. thankz to some Singapore pulsar community, i learned the timing chain goes loose at idle isnt much bad and won't blow out the engine however replacing one is tricky and sometimes its the CCT unit go kaput and hence make the noise. Today baught the tensioner with 400 taka + 150 taka gasket ( total in indian currency arround 300 rs) and so far no tik tik sound heard. Bike run well and gentle. Will check the mileage soon.

champion plugs are used as stock for bajaj bikes.
If you puchase from a service center they give it in the same packaging you mentioned
The excessive lean mixtures you are getting despite re-tuning might be due to excessive air flow to the carb
please check the air filter condition it should not be torn or fitted improperly
are you using K&N filter??
If the air filter looks fine then check the rubber hose which connects the carb to air filter box
The screw clamps must be tight and there should be no cracks or leaks in the tube
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
Yes 150 uses the same plugs on both sides
Bosch UR3DC is the part name for spark plugs from Bosch
You will find it on the packaging and on the spark plug itself
And don't worry overheating is from the lean mixture
However do the check the engine oil to be safe..

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150 All Versions
Bro, i wouldn't know. I believe pulsar UG 3 has UCAL (mikuni) bs 26. You can try fitting the BS 29 but is it worth the upgrade considering it fits?Originally posted by parag.warke View PostCan we use UG4.5's carb for UG3?
The ug3 still has plenty of power with stock carburetor. And despite i own the UG 4.5, i don't see much of of a difference between UG3 and mine. Btw is your carburetor a CV one?

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150 All Versions
GHello my indian brothers,
Its your friend from Bangladesh again
Today i got my engine oil replaced and put Mobil super 4t 20w50. The quantity is as recommended 1 liter. But after changing oil, i can see the gear shifting is still a little hard which only occurs when engine oil start to give up good viscosity. Right?
Now as i checked the oil level through the inspection window... I have this feeling this isn't the recommended quantity ! Although just today the oil has been replaced. Now pardon my ignorance and please tell me you know the perfect oil level. I attached the inspection window photo.
(the bike was on main stand for over night)

First adjust the chain slack correctly, it should be around 25-30mmOriginally posted by Sakibchy View PostGHello my indian brothers,

The oil level looks perfectly ok (can you see that its just around the upper '-' marking ?), and you seem to have an oil leak and i presume you are going to have it fixed.
And I guess the oil you used in a 4 stroke motorcycle specific oil right ?
If you have any doubt on the oil capacity/how to check oil level/chain adjustment - pl refer to the owners manual (which can also be downloaded from bajaj india website)

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150 All Versions
Yupe. Mine carb is CV. Im tired of doing trial and error on how to resolve mid-rev loosing prob. After 5-5.5 rpm bike looses rev. Opened all parts of carb, cleaned it multiple times, changed the reed assembly switch, changed the pilot and main jet, checked the diaphragm assembly everything is fine but problem still persists. Once tested with another carb, bike was running like problem never exists. Finally decided to get new carb and thought if im buying a new one then why not to go for upgraded one and thats the reason im searching for more info about UG4.5's carb.Originally posted by Sakibchy View PostBro, i wouldn't know. imo the classic pulsar rocks. I believe its the round headlamp version with the single plug engine. You have not mentioned what kind of mechanical shape its in. Pictures might help.

Re: Bajaj Pulsar 150 All Versions
Try to source a single plug p150 aka pulsar classic 150... or 180 still thr most fun.. look for an original exhaust and swingarm(shorter) the chassis dynamics was so much better then... dtsi swingarms just spoilt the cornering funOriginally posted by babaji View Posti returned it back. it was a third owner bike with rc on the financers name. looking for another now
