Thanks Insane. Ya big amount really.. I had to think a lot before investing so much on a block for a price which can get me a whole used RXZ here. But then people abroad swear by this model and then i thought to myself, what the heck , there are people buying new 5speed bores for as high as 22k! so why not go for this one. Im collecting some more imported stuff like pistons, cranks, racing CDIs, heads, different gearboxes etc. before i plan to build a quick machine.

Rationally or irrationally thinking, owning something like that is always what makes people stand out in the crowd Nitesh bhai..... great stuff !!

One suggestion, why not build the whole bike around those.... I mean since you have 2 barrels and you are thinking of building something quick .... I think you should make the bike also accordingly.

My point is to a lot of people who dont have the tech info ......the Rx 135 is still Rx 100. So why not make the bike look unique.... something like the malaysian 6 speed Zee or the RD series stuff.... which looks different and rare. I mean the whole identity of the bike will be unique then. (though not modified but stock models).

Thanks Vinay. I do have a lot of plans .. lets see how well it goes. All depends on the parts availability , time and funds. If i build just the engine, it will cost me more than 50k for exclusive parts alone!

2. crank (i guess 4s and 5 s shares same)
3. connecting rod
4. 4speed block

^ If you are lucky can get 5 speed gearbox conversion kit. However, I doubt if you can catch hold of new 4 speed block, having said that even used 4 speed block these days costs dear.

Why don't you buy the crank-assembly unit? That comes with factory fitted connecting rod (2YA). I'm able to help Chennai xbhp with some patience. I'm sure you'll be able to source it in Mumbai. Last time when checked the price quoted was around 3.5k MRP.
