in my 180 ug4 some handling problems was there after some days of purchase itself. at corners feels a tight in handle when take corners. but handle was very free when tried puting center stand. also when tried to ride without my hands, it was also gone by its own. i thought that there was a serious problem there. then decided to report to s.c. but i was b.c. but after some days it disappeared without any changes. i dont know what was that.Originally posted by vrnmhjn View PostHi friends! Iridium are the best spark plugs currently available in India. They are very expensive though some 400-500 Rs for one side.

Already seen it many times, it's the ad for promoting new Orange 220. And it will not be a production model, the bike on Indian streets will be just like any other 220 but having Orange theme.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postwatch this addYouTube - Pulsar 220 poetry in motion

What all things does a service centre do?Do they do mods?I mean other than regular service, parts replacement etc.The bajaj service centre here does painting and also when i went there i saw a 200 with clip on handle bars and i asked the service centre guy about it and he said the complete front end of 220 is fitted to a 200 and it was done by them.Isn't that considered a mod?.(I am asking this just for my knowledge and not to argue/complaint about service center doing mods)
Also how is this ELF moto oil?Has anyone tried it on 180?Is ELF oil better than motul 3000 mineral oil coz the cost difference is very little and ELF is semi-synthetic.When i looked the ELF site i found it being 20w40 grade oil and no mention of any 20w50 oil was found but i saw a pic here in 'engine oil' thread of it being 20w50.

I used ELF moto4 gold twice in my bike. After that valvoline mineral. I found the latter one is better and lasts longer. Elf performs well initially say for some 600 kms after that the engine becomes harsh.Originally posted by Ghost11 View PostWhat all things does a service centre do?Do they do mods?I mean other than regular service, parts replacement etc.The bajaj service centre here does painting and also when i went there i saw a 200 with clip on handle bars and i asked the service centre guy about it and he said the complete front end of 220 is fitted to a 200 and it was done by them.Isn't that considered a mod?.(I am asking this just for my knowledge and not to argue/complaint about service center doing mods)

It is my personal experience with ELF and others may find it different. Haven't used Motul though..
Also it is 20w40 in mineral and i think the picture u have seen is synthetic oil which is new arrival in ELF, costs 800rs.
The service center does the mods like swapping of parts, painting etc etc. Again swapping comes under replacing right..
Hope ur doubts are cleared..

Well my friend I have not tried motul 5100 yet love to try it since i have heard alot about it but the problem is it is not available in my city as there is no dealer here or a distributor for it. well what u guys say 15w50 is a good oil. Someone was telling me that this is a tractor oil is it. Do let me know the feedback from u all then i shall survey with the company to arrange me one.click me

My Bike is now a 1 year and 2 months old she has done 8200 km till date with an average which normally she is getting 49-52 km/lt.
No problem so far only thing was I was using dam addctives for my bike I mean miking it with engine oil which gave a set back of replacing my clutch plates on 7600 km. From that day onwards I shall never advice anyone to put addictives. Its bad.click me

.......So ELF oil is good but the other question still remains, is it better than Motul 3000 mineral oil?.BTW As per all the feedbacks i have read Motul 5100 will outperform ELF oil for sure, but its costs more too. I compared Motul 3000 and ELF coz of the similar price points.Would like to know which is VFM among both.

AFAIK Motul and gulf are the best in mineral oils. Motul and ELF both costs almost same. Motul 5100 is semi synthetic so it will cost more. If you can spot Motul original oil go for it else stick to ELFOriginally posted by Ghost11 View PostThanx and yes my doubts are cleared ......for now

This thing with Bajaj oil has been experienced by most of the riders in my area using Bajaj oil. Me too now. Never ever again I am going to experiment IDIOTICALLY with engine oils.
