wow...that's utter failure from HP.Originally posted by abhichotu.abhi View PostThis Bajaj DTS-I shit is so THIN that it has started leaking from the head.
This thing with Bajaj oil has been experienced by most of the riders in my area using Bajaj oil. Me too now. Never ever again I am going to experiment IDIOTICALLY with engine oils.

And this thing happened just when I was thinking to give this oil a shot for 3000 Kms, but now after this, I have got no choice other than changing it to Motul Mineral that I have got.Originally posted by lockhrt999 View Postwow...that's utter failure from HP.
All the De-credits for HP and Bajaj.

Tomorrow I am going to buy 135 cc rear view mirrors for my pulsar 180 ug4. I shall be putting my review ones I am happy with it. Well I have already spoken to the dealer that first I will feel comfortable and then I shall buy it. Well he has agreed to it lets see what happens ones they r put. More over after reading so many review on this subject I am taking this step.
Hope for the best for the machine as it will be for the first time after so many years I will be putting rear view mirrors for good. As had a bad experience on 13-3-2011.
Wish me luck guys I hope I get adjusted to the mirrors soon.click me

Hi dear,Originally posted by Ghost11 View PostThanx and yes my doubts are cleared ......for now
Thank you
.......So ELF oil is good but the other question still remains, is it better than Motul 3000 mineral oil?.BTW As per all the feedbacks i have read Motul 5100 will outperform ELF oil for sure, but its costs more too. I compared Motul 3000 and ELF coz of the similar price points.Would like to know which is VFM among both.
Well I have not tried the motul oil yet since it is not available in my city. Second of all I am very happy with elf moto 4 gold 20w50. As my bike is doing very well for the ride as well as for the gear shifts.
Very comfortable I guess the best engine oil so far.
Well I was reading other reviews also saw castrol gtx being used in some bikes well my friend who has an avenger 200cc old one is using this oil from the date he has purchased his bike. From his side the reviews were he is very very happy with it.
I guess we can use any oil but it should be 20w50 elf, volvoline, motul can be used but not hp i.e. Bajaj oil bad bad one. Really yesterday I went to see the service center for some work I learnt few vehicles who came for service had done 9000 km on the same oil and learnt there engine was gone.. Man some people really believe the company and buy goods with there eyes shut.click me

...That is plain dumb.My bajaj oil is 250 kms old, i guess i will change to Motul or Elf after running for another 400-500kms.

Nice to know that you got out of hibernation.
What was the problem with carburetor diaphragm? And how much did it cost to you alongwith the cost of replacing chain and sprocket plus clutch plates?

Yeah feels nice to be out of the hibernation...
Did a 1250 km round trip starting Friday and got back on Sunday.. Spent a super duper time.. It was an Inter State G2G.. (Karnataka-Kerela-Tamil Nadu)...
There was a tear in the Diaphragm because of which I wasn't getting the acceleration.. That cost was around 270/- and 30/- fixing charge...
I don't remember the cost of the clutch plates and sprocket set as they were changed on two of prior consecutive services.. Will post if I find the bills..
Cool get it cleaned(only with O-Ring chain cleaner or Diesel strict no to Petrol), tightened and lubricated (only with O-Ring chain spray)..Originally posted by Prabhakar150 View PostThanks dude. Ya the chain was not cleaned and slackness was not adjusted for the past 700 kms. Bike clocked 12.5K + kms. Will tak care of tat this weekend

Get your clutch settings checked. Do you feel any problem during gear shifts?Originally posted by INDYAN View PostI have p180 ug3 and i am facing false neutral problem. I have to stop my bike to make gear neutral. while driving it never ever get neutral. Any one how to fix it?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! Get your clutch settings checked. It is highly unlikely that there might be something wrong with the gear box.
