These things are now added in my portfolio.
Now did you used DOT 3 or DOT 4 oil? Did you cleaned the old oil out of the system before filling in new oil in the brake oil container? BTW, that's a good DIY, hope you become a competent mechanic soon!

Yeah! battery should'nt possess any problem as it is in the early stages of its disappearing life. I don't have a battery charger at home.

      Pirelli-3600
      tvs tyre-1500
That's what I was going MAD about. Those are 130's, you know I saw that picture you posted atleast 15-20 times and still can't figure out why it was looking wider than stock MRF. Now, you wrote and thanks a zillions for clearing that bug from my mind.

So, you changed the relay itself? or cleaned the terminals only?

See mate i got solutions but you need to take it that way...

        1) Withdraw the entire deal and get it done from somewhere else. Trust me on this as you may never know what else could be problematic in that bike which can cause future problems. Downpayment can be revoked anytime if you havent registered the bike neither accepted or rode it across the city. Just tell them iam no more interested in this deal anymore cz i do not see the genuineness in the entire dealing...

        2) If you cannot withdraw the deal then shoot a mail to bajaj, write all the problems you facing regarding this purchase, also enter all the dealer details. Look mate you are saving 4000rs but in short you are losing the entire bike. Just for 4000rs dont screw up on the genuine purchase which will have its benefits. Also for withdrawing the deal you can put this reason too..

All i would like to qoute is cancel the deal, if not possible then get it done through a genuine Bajaj Showroom, you might save 4000 now but later you will repent more, nothing comes for free.

You can always cancel the payment since you havent registered the bike neither took its delivery...

Dude I've done the same . . i have asked my loan agent to solve it as it was through his contact i went to this dealer . . i have asked me to get either my dp back or get me a replaced bike . . else i have others ways to solve it . . these F*****S need some kind of treatment so that they stop chitkao-ing such bikes to others . . also as someone suggested above i thought of calling bajaj and complaining about such dealers but waiting to get my bike in hand then do it . . will not leave him so easily . . i just wanted to know that really what he said about the bike was true as the bikes do get damaged while transportation . . i just couldnt accept my new bike with that shitty work on exhaust . .

Yes abhi its 130,140 is also available and price difference is only 200.I think if 140 there may need little modification on chain side or it will touch chain guard.I am little curious about mileage thats why am selected 130.Abhi its not as much big as stock MRF pirelli have more curved or ovel shape that you can confidently do a corner and a tyre expert told MRF have a problem that center part will decrease but side grip will stay.

No abhi just tighten the terminals with a screwdriver other wise we need to change the socket.Give more care to relay because its terminals are easy to break and one SC boy told its hard to find.

SC put DOT4 oil, just a guess. I didn't put fresh oil again. The oil which I got after bleeding, I put it back into reservoir. Now I have 99% fresh and 1% old oil.

Wow! A totally Green approach. Now, try the same with engine oil too, take it out and refill the same.

                  • A short log on my today's trip:

An official work was pending due to which I had to visit the official capital of (M.P.) i.e. Bhopal. This city is 220 kms from my hometown (Indore). A meeting was planned at around 12:00 PM in the afternoon. My plan was to leave as early as 6:00 AM and reach the destination somewhere around 10:00 AM, meet some relatives, finish the work by 1:00 PM and then leave for my hometown.

As usual my habit of being late, this time I was late by 3 hours. At last I started the journey by 9:15 AM, wrestling with the morning\office-going traffic I managed to get out of the city by 9:50 AM. Hit the city bypass by 10:00 AM and then continued towards Bhopal. As I was already late, I tried to ride as fast as possible but only managed speeds of 80-90kmph till I get 30 kms farther from my city. After that the average speeds were between 100-110kmph, race race race...... ripped hard managed to hit 125 kmph quite a few times. How car drivers were jealous when I overtook them@120kmph. Some of them took the uncalled challenge and went past me @130-140 kmph, I was never racing with them and said them a good bye-bye while still cruising at my comfort speeds. Inspite of ripping it took me '2 Hours 45 minutes' and I reached Bhopal by 12:00 PM thanks to numerous villages, stupid animals and villagers running on road like owned by their Grandfathers. Finished the work in hurry and again I was late, left Bhopal by 2:30 PM. This time I was just cruising @80-85kmph and reached Indore by 6:00 PM. Uneventful ride!

                    Some mathematics about this ride\trip:

Mileage (Indore to Bhopal): 32 kmpl

Mileage (Bhopal to Indore [return journey]): 45kmpl

                    On the ODO: 450 kms

Some Pix I managed to click while peeeeeee breaks, sorry I am not a photographer so please deal with them....

                    Thanks.

No it isn't separately available. I had to buy pair of them after my fall in dec '10 on left side. I had right side leg guard laying around the whole time. Earlier this year the bike had fallen on right side two times. Original was bent in 10-20 degrees. That's why I replaced.

Anyway pair is available around 250 Rs. Replace your damaged ASAP.

Nice pic decoration. And that's respectable fuel consumption. When we start riding in Ninja's comfort zone, our rides give ninja's average.

                      PS. You changed the helmet.

Oh.. Thanks. Yeah when we drive like hell we are bound to end there. Same with fuel consumption, I rode like hell (under safety limits not risking mine or any other life) and the bike returned mileage like Hell!

                        PS. You changed the helmet.
Nup! yaar It is the same old one. Don't have money to spend right now.:P

What is the mileage of your bike? Mine has been giving me some real HORROR figures of 32-30-34-35 under ripping while I remembered most of the members claim here that instead of riding @100kmph their bike returns 40kmpl, mine gives 32kmpl, Is'nt that smart or stupid.

That is neat mate, I had an average of 20-25 Kmpl on Pune - Banglore ride with constant 100 + Speed, and observed the same on Pune - Delhi route also, pushing to limits doesn't go well with the pocket.

Oh!! Thanks, I am relieved now. I thought that the bike had some problems when the mechanic confirmed on the last service that there are none other than small oil consumption. Means you are another hardcore TOURER!

I normally get 45-47. Once under hard ripping I got 39 kpl.
Bike is 2 years old and has clocked only 14k km(I know that's embarrassing)

On long rides is what I am asking for? Continuous riding on 100kmph for a long period. Do you have those figures.

OT: I am visiting PUNE on 4th will meet you.
