Congrats shoeb , so its the first surprise you talking about Now where is second ?
Why you adjusted rear shocks to hardest just on beginning ? As i know one should use on mid setting on startup & after some kms/days shift to harder/higher setting depending on need .
Opening the new shock ups for oil change isn't it so early ? I suggest to use as they are & later shift to thicker grade but which 1 ?
Hero Logo on handle looking cool . Is the key also have hero logo ? If possible post photo of upper portion of key if it is having hero logo want to see how it looks.

No,I am not changing the oil right now. Maybe after few thousand kms.
Backside-Front side (or other way )It is almost 4" in length

The xtreme logo is made out of a soft material and has cushion like feel(soft to touch). The quality of the key is excellent and I think it will not cost less than Rs.300 to get a duplicate.

Thanks. Ride a splendor/joy/cd and then you will stop complaining about hard shocks of other bikes . I am so used-to to that kind of hard shocks that Xtreme's front shocks feel a little bit on the softer side(but still harder when compared to other bikes).

hahaha.. With harder i meant better. Splendor's got good suspension not too soft not too hard. Where else on the old hero Honda extreme it was soft enough which used to bottom out in bad roads. Even my stunner's front bottoms out in bad roads.

              Key looks very cool.

Also, I'd been to Parshawa Motors today asking for the Footrests of the new CBZ Xtreme. He only gave me a "metal arm". No rubber, no spring, no fastening clip, nothing. Just the bare bones arm. I asked him if the whole set is available and he said no, they don't get the full set. I find that quite odd. Is it available otherwise?

Also, my bike makes 54kmph at 4k RPM in 5th gear. It used to make around 48kmph before the sprocket change. Others have reported around 57 and 50 odd after and before sprocket change respectively. Must be the weight of the rider. I weigh 70kg. :P

That thing is magnetic so that it is able to lift the cover of the lock so that it can be opened.....

Dont worry even my bike states the speed of 54kmph at 4k rpm in 5th gear, and before the change of sproket it was 49 kmph.... And it is definitely not the
wieght of the rider, coz i weigh arnd 85 kgs and dont feel that weight will be an issue and as such the reading are perfectly fine..

No , complete set of footrest not available of Xtreme . You need to build footrest by those 4/5 parts which are available seperately .

According to me disc pads has to replace after every 10k kms and can be earlier if one is using extremely and about the sprocket (Chain set) it works fine around till 22k to 28 depends upon the tarmac and modification.....

                          • Brake pads can be changed when they are about to worn out. You can look at them and identify.
I changed my Bikes Brake pads with Bosch ones which costs Rs 120 when compared to Original ones at Rs 350/-.

And guys looking for Good service centers in Hyderabad, These two are the best I found till now.

Karuna Motors, Beside BBR Hospital, Ferozguda.
                            Vishal Motors, Chintal.

My bike was always serviced at Vishal Motors and they are good at it. But now their Specialist CBZ Xtreme mechanic has left, so I am not sure how it it now.

Coming to the Engine Oils, Check out Gulf 10w30. Its the best I have used till now. Consistent performance and Costs only Rs 200. I dont suggest Motul 300v or other fully synthetic oils as they are not good for Crank.

Hmmm, so I'll need to buy the spring, rubber, arm etc and assemble them eh? Good job for the weekend. :P

Just check the pads in the rear, check the gap between the pads, if they're around half a cm from each other, time to change I think.

                              • So here is my review after riding my xtreme for nearly a month !
i rode 600km to be precise.. I know its less because i have my exams scheduled

                                Handling :
handling is quite good as compared to Karizma R .. The bike is heavy but when you ride the vehicle , you won't find any weight bothering you so you can ride it easily and can cut in the traffic with ease!.

                                Suspensions :
Suspensions are really Good!.. I purposely rode my bike from under construction road and there was no pain in my ass ! :P :-) .. Thx to the GRS Suspension :-)
                                Mileage :
I ride my bike at constant 40-45kmph.. So i am getting 60kmpl in city (didn't checked the highway) .. It can be because i stay in navi mumbai so my bike is constantly on 5th Gear..
P.S : Navi Mumbai coz navi mumbai have broad roads and lesser traffic than compared to any other city.
Cbz doesn't accept riding at 4th gear constantly you have to switch it to 5th gear :P
Well i personally think that the bike should have a 6th gear.. it is my perception .. I think that my bike is waiting for the first service then the engine will open up and will give me better performance for the engine :-)

                                TYRES:
CBZ Xtreme have the most toughest tyres.. Was riding at 45kmph and i took a steep turn on a dusty road and the bike didn't move at all nor it skid.
M happy with the tyres :-)

                                Brakes :
As i own single disk break.. Hero has to work with the rear breaking system.. It is not urgent when required.. A kid on a bicycle got saved coz of my riding i suppose

                                Stability :
This bike is xtremely stable :-) //
Riding at 80kmph on the highway and there was no vibration at all. Felt so good..
i only rode it once to check for the vibes ..

                                Verdict :
This Bike is Superb <3 M loving each and every moment with my love (CBZ Xtreme :P) <3
It got a macho feeling when u ride this bike on city or highways ..
I personally had this experience . People who own Pulsar 220 or Pulsar 180 or Karizma-R just stares at my bike rather than looking forward :P
Posting my pics in the next reply
