They should cost you something less than 200.

Which model is your activa?? Is it the new 109cc or the old one. The old activa/dio spark plug no. is CR6HIX. The new activa spark plug no. is CPR7EAIX-9.

mine is the older version of the activa....nov 07 make....sorry bout not specifically mentioning the brake shoes...also the vehicle seems to showing an awful mileage of 35-38kmpl with city riding on economy....any suggestions on how to increase it???

    Thanks a Ton again.....

I have already mentioned that the spark plug no. for your model is CR6HIX. It should cost you around 500.

About the mileage part i dont know. Nearly all scooters end up delivering such awful figures. If not all then atleast mine. The scooters are not good in the mileage part. My dio (dio is lighter than activa by 10kg) is also delivering similar figures & sometimes even horrible figures than that.

                  Hey madhav,

Have been following your posts in the thread. Well, the Activa doesn't have a seperate oil filter like bikes but there is something called "Oil Screener Cap". Its an inch long mesh filter that is placed near the oil drain bolt.

Have replaced it a few times when I changed from mineral to synthetic and within brands as well. It costs ~Rs 50. You may check out the spares catalogue next time you visit the svc.

Was using the Agip 4T 5W40 earlier. Must say its a really good oil. Now its on Petronas Sprinta 4T 5000. Its a really VFM oil with decent performance.

                  • Has anyone experimented with their Activa/Dio carb? I mean trying to fix a larger carb from the HH Pleasure.

Want to have some punch from my 6 yr old Activa.

                    • 1. What is the company recommended grade for the engine oil for the Activa? Is it xW40 or xW50?
                      2. Are the electricals DC or AC? I want to change the headlight to either a Halogen or an HID if possible. I find the light too dim for my liking.

                      Thanks.

                          • I am mostly booking an Orange aviator std soon. But I have one question. See the instrument panel that is shown all over web and even ads:

However, the real scooter has the panel in black, and not in body color. Does anyone know whether the model comes with black instrument panel or body color?
