For beta - Warranty is 24 months with replacement and 24 months on pro rata basis. If something happens to your battery's performance in first 24 months. Company replaces it free. From 24-48 months its on pro rata basis -means you will have to pay additional price of the replacement battery as battery price would be higher at that moment of time.
Thanks buddy for the updates.

Guys, heard about a battery manufacturer named "Mark". I went out to a local battery shop for MF Battery, the only option he had was Mark. He did not have Amaron.
muztariq.. The battery that you have purchased is MF? How much is the price?

I own one year and two months old baby. She as crossed 23000kms run. Her front tires are really good.
But the rear once are goes. Special the side grip.
When I checked with shopkeeper for changing the tire, he gave two option same MRF (4350rs) AND CONTINENTAL (4450rs).
Which one shall I go for or any other recommendation?? Specially user feedback on continental tries.
I also want to know is it correct price or not.

Friends,

Recently I had to change my clutch cable because one of the wire strands on the stock cable broke.
Since then i'm facing a problem with downshifting. Sometimes while downshifting multiple times in one go. The first shift happens smoothly but subsequent ones just dont happen. The shift-pedal just moves down without it downshifting. I have to try multiple times and release the clutch 3-4 times before it shifts. Another observation: When on center stand, if I start the engine, pull the clutch in and shift into 1st gear, the wheel starts to rotate even without releasing the clutch at all. Its like the clutch hasn't disengaged completely.
Can this be a reason for the downshifting issue?

I guess the mechanic might have installed a non-Yamaha clutch cable which is longer than the Yamaha genuine one.

Any suggestions?

Cheers!

It seems to be clutch issue. The clutch isnt engaging and disengaging properly. Also, incase you are on SS/FS oil, there might be issue while downshifting.

It's the pads, when I squeeze the lever slightly then there's no rattle.
Anyway bike is in svc now, getting new piston rings as the bike was drinking oil. I've mentioned the brake trouble, lets see what they do about it

You should check with the showroom for the battery query. But I don't think it has a MF battery.

In the High beam, both the lamps are on. One lamp setting is only for the Low beam.

i have heard that in fazer at high beam, one lamp works at low and one at high, is it correct?
and the rear tyre of fazer has the problem of chicken strips and is more prone to punctures and wears out too soon?

Na na... That information is wrong. On high beam, both lamps are on.

What is chicken strips ?
The suspension is really good. No problems at all. Nor too soft an nor too stiff.
These tyres are one of the best. Really good. But yea, more prone to punctures. Need to be change at 18-20k kms
