It starts from 850rs I guess for the mesh type gloves ... the best one at the moment I think is the DSG revive which is at 1.9k .

8K for the mod from orion is it ? that puts paid to my plan ... Just can't afford it . Can't we get the parts and get it done locally elsewhere ... as far as i know it's the mounting rod thats causing the problem ... can get the fairing on order for cheaper .

mounting & weldieng the rods are the main problem, local mechanic may ruin itSo it is not possible to do it from outside also

Thanks! Nope, it looks great over here and believe it or not every single rider which came up to me and praised me for my raised handle bar and asked what is it. Handling was way wayyyy better as well as no more stress on the shoulders unlike the low stock handlebar. Most importantly, my ride was very comfy as well as mileage increased with the stated tyres im using here

its ok,but will not the mileage decrease due to more traction of wheels with road??

                          • Saddle bag for FZ

Slight OT: i ended up picking The Road Company Dirtsack Saddlebag for my FZ as i am going ahead with my full preparation for Leh - Ladakh one can check the pics: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...tml#post593465

This is to put to rest the no. of queries regarding direct fit saddle bags on FZ for guys who are looking into long distance touring. Total damage 3.2k!! looking for custom rain covers now.. any help would be appreciated.
The quality of finish and the zippers are really nice although i am yet to test it on my FZ with Full Load. one would definitely require rain cover during monsoon as i doubt this saddlebag would be able to provide any major protection during a full shower. capacity: 44 litres(22 litres each side).

One can also look for the alternative saddlebag from Get Off - Home the reviews have been posted here: [Saddle Bags] GetOff-Ur-Ass Saddle Bags costs 3250 with rain covers. i actually saw the reviews and the bag only after i had already bought the dirtsack bag .. bummer!! capacity wise "get off ur ass" bag is better..

                            Cheers

& also guys I want to buy a pair of good gloves.so buying it from orion motors bangalore will be a good point or where can I buy good pair cost effective gloves in bangalore??

i believe rather than doing fairing mods you should try performance mods stage wise. If i am not wrong, it would set you back by around 6-7k+ of greens.. Performance of your bike won't decrease.

talking about performance mods, get in touch with joel, race concepts, blore... his performance mods are slowly becoming a rage and are reliable. many xbhp members have gone ahead with street spec mods from joel for their R15 (term it R16!!), apache, pulsar 220, pulsar 200 etc and are extremely happy with the mods with no drop in mileage. other way round, the mileage has increased because of better design of the big bore kit and custom performance exhaust! he is currently planning a 180cc FZ bolt on kit and one can expect a good 15-20% bump on performance compared to stock, although higher top end speed compared to stock is something you'll have to check with joel.

                              cheers

+1^^ I'm Already in touch with Joel for any mod that he is willing to make to the FZ. I contacted him for FFE at first but also looking forward to the big bore kit if developed by him for FZ.. I'm not incurring any cost locally for visual or performance mods & saving up for as much as i can to spend at Joel's..
PS: WHo told you about the 180CC FZ kit bro?? I'v been through his whole thread, never actually saw any such comment on that topic.. anyways, sounds damn interesting
