          Hi ppl!!!
did 650km on odo and now i feel the meaning of wing rider - the smoothness all are talking about.
Planned to give for service at 750km odo, caz changed the oil recently at 350km odo. any advise on this?

Had a punctured front tyre recently (was going through bad roads).
While repairing the puncture, got to see the naked disk-break-pads.
Wanted to see them collapse without disk, but the puncture repair-man warned me of serious troubles...any idea about wat hapens....?

              • Hello Uni owners, just a small question here.
I am planning to buy a Unicorn this diwali and observed quite a few Unicorns on road and found that all the unicorns have their tail detached from the fibre holding.
Has anyone of you experienced the same on your bikes ? Is there any fix that anyone has found yet ? Please help !!!

                • Dear Friends,

My age is 30. Currently i own a max 100 R. I like to buy Honda unicorn. But i don't ride above 40 KMPH normally. Only at occassion i will touch 50KMPH. My questions are .
                  1. What is the minimum speed we have to maintain in 5th gear in unicorn for smooth ride?
                  2. Could i drive in 40 KMPH in 5th gear?
                  3. If i drive in 40 KMPH in 5th gear could i get nice mileage (45-50) and engine life.?

I am a city Rider. I like the comfortness in 150cc bikes. (suspension , ride quality). But still i like to limit the speed. Is the 150cc is meant for speed. I think it is for comfort , acceleration.

Please do provide your user experience. It will help me to choose the bike. I posted the same in "what Bike" section. I don't have got sufficient response. So I posted in unicorn users section.

I did post in the what bike section and I'm replying here too.
To be frank bro,150cc bikes are not necessarily meant for speed. You do have bikes like unicorn and GS...The only thing others were trying to say was,you won't be utilizing it's potential and hence it's simply not worth it(the money you spend on it i.e)...I believe for your riding style,125cc bikes make a lot of sense...Bikes like gladiator, shine,Zeus are real deals for you.The gladiator IMO is the pick of 125cc and provides great ride quality and a perfect mix of sportiness and whatever...
I'm not advising you to not go for a 150cc bike but this is just my honest opinion...

If you want a bike to drive at 50km normally and occasionaly drive slow at 40km then its a better bike .... before you could relalise you have would cross 40km .. and once you have got smoothest 150cc machine to drive it will be hard to stop your self driving at 40 kmph...
Although there shouldnt be any problem driving at 45km constant speed which will be at @3600 rpm...it should fetch you a good mileage anything between 55-60kmpl....

Srini has made a valid point if you want to ride at 40km do consider a smaller capacity engine it will save you some money..but if money doesnt matter then what are you waiting for go for it..

I dont usually look at the tail light while I ride around.... besides, why are you planning so much just to buy a tail light?

                          • well i think
once u'hv fallen in for the unicorn , nothing can stop you from buying it
also you seem to be riding pretty unrefined engines till date
riding uni at 40-50 kmph is equivalent to sitting idle on the bike
                            (no noise ,no vibes)
you urself will take her to 100 on almost daily basis , and you will feel it as easy and refreshing as 40-50 kmph constant ride + uni will never dissapoint you in the mileage section.A guy like me doesn't have a single reason to choose a bike other then the uni

The Automotive batteries are designed to work best in a typical short start-stop fashion.
So to increase the life of your automobile battery, blow the horn and flash the pass light in a quick start stop fashion instead of a conitnuous long horn blow or flash light continuous on!!
And obviously don't stretch the self start far too long.

bro, what I mean is have you ever observed on your bike that the tail light is loose from its pannel and not that how does it look when you ride the bike
And I am planning to buy the bike, not the tail light dude

hi, i think u have fitted pulsar handle bar on your unicorn. which handle bar is that? and did u do any modifications in order to fit that in to the unicorn..

when i asked with a workshop wala, he said that simply fitting a pulsar handle bar will make it crash with the tank... I am interested in fitting a small handle bar like the one in pulsar and FZ16.please help.
