Try your luck and post your experience here.Originally posted by fayad555 View Post@bala_racing and Raccoon
brake fluid level is correct. yes the presence of air in the brake-fluid can decrease the braking effeciency. but i was worried about whether i can get the pad replaced if the problem was with the disc-pad.
i 'll be giving the bike for service this saturday..
BTW, if it is not brake pad , then after the service, post what other technical issue lead to that more stopping distance.

ok i 'll try to fight with them..Originally posted by Raccoon View Post^^^Thats what I said - you should be able to. But you may need to put some "fight" into it. I'v done similar stuff with HH and TVS at least...

And one more problem
My bike's rear tyre is rubbing against the chain guard. It is very close to the chain guard. I checked it with my friends unicorn. It has a bit more space in between. Is this a serious problem or it can adjusted?? any idea??tђє รเlєภt รt๏г๓

The chain guard can be adjusted with washers&bigger nuts, but if the tyre itself is too fat then you can't avoid it from touching.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

. It happens normally when we drop the bike. Anyway, check with the service center , it can be adjusted.

There seems to be an alignment issue with the rear wheel. The two bolts on the ends of the swingarm beams must be adjusted in such a way that they're of equal length on both sides.Originally posted by fayad555 View Post....

Im quite sure that the adjustment's lopsided in your bike and hence the clearance issues on one side

i got my bike serviced. They told there is no air present in the brake fluid and the brakes are alright. They have cleaned the disk and disk-pad. Now braking has improved. I 'll have to check with my friends bike and see if it is ok.Originally posted by bala_racing View PostTry your luck and post your experience here.

Hey guys whats the correct way of measuring engine oil level in uni(spoke model) ie do we measure oil level with the dipstick screwed in or just keeping it on top of the filler hole ( i guess its more specific now) & how many adjustable steps are there in the rear monoshock. pl. reply. thanksLast edited by srpsinu; 11-20-2009, 04:05 PM.

Put off the engine, put the bike on center stand on level surface, leave it for a while for all oil to settle down (3 mins may be)....remove the distick, clean the 'stick' with clean cloth or paper dry.....put back the dipstick and screw it fully and again unscrew and watch the wetted oil level...if you don't see any oil fill up 50 ml in increment repeat the process of checking...don't put more oil into the chamber as it may lead to problems.....the level has to be b/w max. and min. safe to fill upto max. level....not more than that though...hope this helps...Originally posted by srpsinu View PostHey guys whats the correct way of measuring engine oil level in uni(spoke model) ie do we measure oil level with the dipstick screwed in or just keeping it on top of the filler hole ( i guess its more specific now) & how many adjustable steps are there in the rear monoshock. pl. reply. thanks
