You r correct. It is ambition sprocket after all. I changed my chain set today and put on the ambition sprocket which i purchased for Rs.200. The sprocket fits perfectly, but is slightly smaller by about 3 quarters of a cm compared to the Uni stock sprocket. Due to this, 2 links were removed from the chain to maintain tightness. I can feel the drop in initial pickup drastically, but the RPM has also reduced and is so relaxed now. The RPM seems lesser by about 500 at 60kmph. I am hoping that the mileage also improves.Originally posted by Shreeni0403 View PostI somehow have a feeling that it is Ambition rear sprocket which has 38T

Because my friend has a Old ZMA who changed his sprockets just couple of days back. I borrowed his old sprocket to check and it has 40T rear and chain 520 pitch !! Let me try hunting your mech and get the work done
BTW are you basically from Mysore ? Even I am from Mysore.
PM me your nmbr. Will give you a call if anything necessary while hunting your mech.
What was the cost of sprocket. !!
Chain set replacement charges were Rs.100 for me.

hello guys!
i recently met with an accident and i cant believe that unicorn caused such a stability problem ... i was riding on side of road bcoz of traffic and as soon as i tried to move up the road front tyre climed the bump of side of road but rear was not able to climb the bump and as a result i was slicing at the corner line of road with front tyre on road and rear on road side dirt ... as a result i soon lost balance big time and fell and was sliding on road .. thanx to my jacket it couldn't resulted in bruise but had a minor injury in my knee [internal] ..
when i regained composer i was amused as what may cause such accident..
1] is it tyre grip [m using soft compound]
2] send on road [ya it was there]
3] sm fault on chasis of uni?
4] otherLast edited by viv.nomad; 02-08-2010, 02:21 PM.

Amount of Sand on the Road - which would have caused your Tyres to go Unstable
And yes Soft Compund Tyres are not best for Sandy Roads - they temp to Skid
This happens because - Front doesnt has much weight in it - as there is no Weight Leaning on it - so it goes on the Bump Easily
But Since Rear is Most Pressurised as all your Saddle Weight is on the Rear Tyre - it needs more Pulling power to raise on the Bump - else the Force will lead to Skidding and Dragging of the Rear Tyre.....
Next time - Slow down and then Raise in the Bumps - or else ride on the Road.....

Not an accident it happened in the parking lot, there is a big dent on the right side of the tank, too many scraches on tank and as for side panels they are broken just above the tail light and even where Unicorn is written on both the sides, so I had to join them with copper wire. How much will it cost overall and is it worth going for it?Originally posted by fayad555 View Postthe tank and side panels are same for all unicorn versions...only the graphics are different..
