            • The bike goes till 138 on the speedo, in the 5th gear, at 11k and then the rev-limiter cuts in. I did that.

Tks for the tip kurtrules; I'll keep that in mind.

                For now...
                - If one keeps shifting the gears around 5-6K, the top speed is about 135-137 Kmph on 6th gear & it takes lot of time to achieve that
                - If one shifts the gears in the max of mid range (around 8-9K RPM), then the top speed is bound to increase atleast to 140 Kmph & wouldn't take too long
                - One can certainly manage to get 138 Kmph on 5th gear

Pls help growing up the list guys. Tks.

Yes @aargee as @kurtrules said i have redlined the bike in 5th gear and attained 137kmph and the after that the bike didn't pulled and felt stressed. i think 137-138kmph is the max in 5th gear, so i shifted to 6th. it easily went to 144kmph and took lil time to reach 148kmph. i have kept that in full throttle for 3-5 sec but no increase in the speed. The main reason was the heavy wind near Thirunalveli. On normal wind conditions may be the bike will touch 150-155kmph with some time.

                          Updating...
                          - If one keeps shifting the gears around 5-6K RPM at every gear, the top speed is about 135-137 Kmph on 6th gear & it takes lot of time to achieve that
                          - If one shifts the gears in the max of mid range (around 8-9K RPM) on every gear, then the top speed is bound to increase atleast to 144 Kmph & wouldn't take too long; especially the step is to redline on 5th gear.
                          - One can certainly manage to get 138 Kmph on 5th gear
                          - Top speed of around 148 Kmph can be reached even with little unfavourable wind conditions

Question - What's the max RPM at 5th gear? Does it really touch 10.5K RPM or anything closer to 8/9K RPM?

How much are you willing to spend for that additional 5bhp?

Like I mentioned Aargee, the max rpm the bike touches in the 5th gear is 11k. Then there is a cut-off due to the limiter and the bike drops speed. Happened to me twice.

Yes @aargee for me the bike touched 10.5K with 137kmph and the moment it touched 10.5K i shifted it to 6th. But i find someone said shifting the gear where max torque is available(8-9K) will be better than this. coz i find shifting the bike to 6th after redlining(10.5K) the bike tends to drop the speed or torque a lil. Don't know its correct or not. Need to check that. But i can say the bike has the ability to go beyond 150kmph if the given conditions are favorable. I slowed down after 148kmph coz of 2 reasons. heavy wind and there was truck in-front of me.
