Yesterday while standing in a traffic jam a idiot in his shitbox shifted in reverse for no possibly imaginable reason and backed up straight into me and accelerated a bit even after that. Luckily I managed to keep the bike on it wheels and I myself wasnt hurt at all. But the Ceeber took some damage with a broken front Mudguard
, So wanted to share my experience and ask if anyone here knows about availability of the spare and is possible the price of the same. Thank you.

Well friends i brought my ceebeer last month 18th, and i done around 1400 kms till now, and top speed 140KMPH, done 1st service at 900 Kms, oil and filter both change... till now no problem faces just a bit sound during gear shifting that gone after 1 st service... well i find it's really amazing in 4th and 5th gear and specially in highways...
well after reading to different post here i was very confuse about the performance... but after 1400 Kms I'm satisfy with this bike... ya even i want bit more from Honda... but till now i find it's kool for touring....
No road is enough... No destination I search...

While riding during the rain, I do not find the rear wheel very stable.. I think it tends to slip pretty easily. I previously had a ZMA and expected the stability of a CBR to be way more, but it is roughly comparable despite the huge rear tyre.
Has anyone else felt the same, or upgraded to better tyres?

Hi got my bike on monday, ive done just 160 km till now.For the initial 80-100 kms bike felt pretty rough, now the bike seems to be opening up and even the gearshift feels better.
While taking the delivery i had noticed some asymmetric fairing gaps,as advised by Mr Sudeep i asked them to refix it,but the gaps still persist.I didnt overlook the procedure though.
Anyways i cleaned n waxed my bike today, used vista carwash and turtle wax super hard wax.
A comparo with p220 rear
Also got myself an LS2 Supra FF358 for Rs.3400
Im planning for an early oil change n filter change at 200-250k and also would get the fairing gaps fixed then.Till now the bike has been running fine except the overheating during heavy traffic runs.

It's because of the hard compound tyres. It's better to run the bike a bit and get the tyres up to running temperature. I've noticed better grip on a warm tyre.Originally posted by sunkenpirate View PostWhile riding during the rain, I do not find the rear wheel very stable.. I think it tends to slip pretty easily. While driving my bike today in traffic, I also noticed this wobbling at low speed.Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostGuys after the first service I feel the front wheel is wobbling at low speeds .. What could be it ??
Air pressure is fine ... !!
It was nonexistent till yesterday.

Maaannn !! Well same here too it happens in LOW SPEEDS .. but I felt it only after service !!! It makes my steering bit tight and also I feel the wheel is slipping away

...... Do you feel the same ?
Can someone throw a light on this ... WHAT COULD BE THE ISSUE ???

Steering and wheel is fine, however, the wobbling is quite annoying. Sends the feeling all over the body. However, I'll check it again tomorrow and report back.Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostMaaannn !! Well same here too it happens in LOW SPEEDS .. but I felt it only after service !!! A heard from a friend that his friend wrote to Honda about the whole tire slipping issue and got the tires replaced from Honda for free.
I cannot confirm since it's all hearsay, but tomorrow or day after, I'm going to go and meet him and check out what different tires his bike has now.. I'll post what he says.

i get a weird scratching sound from the rear end whenever someone sits on the back seat. i don't really hear it when i'm riding alone. but i weigh about 66 kilos.
its not a continuous sound. more like something rubbing against the tyre or the disc every time the wheel makes a rotation. i plan on getting it checked up in the first service next week. There's a power that comes from deep inside of you
'Cause every day you're reaching toward the light
And you know there's a long long way ahead of you
But when your wheels get you there,
Things will turn out right!

One reason for this may be a faulty & pitted cone set on the steering column. To find this out you have to to raise the front of the bike and allowing the free play of the handle bar...move it from left to right & vice-versa...Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostGuys after the first service I feel the front wheel is wobbling at low speeds .. Air pressure is fine ... !!
If you notice the handle bar stopping anywhere other than the extremes...its due to over-tight steering or pitting...The balls in the ball race of the cone set goes and sits in the dip cause in the cone-set.
This results in temporary wobble or it gives a feeling as if there is a loss of Tyre pressure on the move..& the bike tends to veer in different direction.
It may not be evident during high speeds due to momentum.
It used to happen in my ZMA...& i got it rectified by replacing the cone set, proper greasing & tightening of the center bolt to correct torque.
Regards.

As everyone knows here during initial run in engine metal wear is high and lot of slug is created. Oil filters main function is to retain the slug with itself and filter the oil. So more the kms you run more the filter gets blocked and the flow rate of oil decreases. You can feel the difference very much at high speeds, I guess this is why you are struggling to cross 140. Change the filter you will definitely feel the difference.Originally posted by titanic4u View PostCould you please tell me the impact of not changing Oil Filter....
.
There is little chance the front wheel would miss the alignment. This can happen when oil level in the forks are different. Check the front forks. Also check if the wheel spins freely. Also as said above by surya@64 check the steering cone set.Originally posted by srivaatsav View PostGuys after the first service I feel the front wheel is wobbling at low speeds .. Fatter tyres have less grip than the thinner tryes in wet conditions. This is because contact area is more (in turn pressure by tyre on road is less) and also fatter tyre is not effective in tearing the water layer on road unlike the thinner tyre.Originally posted by sunkenpirate View PostWhile riding during the rain, I do not find the rear wheel very stable.....
You can try inflating the try with little more PSI than recommended when riding in wet and feel the difference. Do not over do and keep the recommended psi on dry conditions.Last edited by Youngking; 08-08-2011, 01:30 AM.Explore the unexplored!

This is some real serious & I tend to believe this!!!Originally posted by abhiwar View Post1> Change every gear (1-2-3-4-5) @ above 9.5k RPM and
see bike flying past 140kmph in no time
. I've observed that if you Upshift @ 5-6k rpm bike dont go beyond 130-134kmph
Has anyone else tried this before? What's anyone's take on this? Reason I'm asking is, I'm going to try this next week after my 2nd 1st service
