My only question is, does HMSI get the same standard on their parts made by any Indian vendors, as what they get from Thailand?
If they don't get the same standard, then the mistake is not on HMSI, but on our local vendors. Because a similar case is proven on R15.

.called them monday morning for the status and the response was very clear that i can take the delivery after registration on wednesday.i told them i can even take delivery after a week also but please correct all minor issues .suddenly by 2 30 afternoon i recieve call that the vehicle is ready and i can take it monday evening itself.when asked about clutch issue they told it was just a minor adjustment ,they had initially thought that would be huge work but that turned to small one.so went to showroom by 4 30 with my friend.after the process the vehicle was brought down my the mechanic.THIS WAS THE MECHANIC FULLY INCHARGE OF CBR HE HAD SOME CLASSES IN DELHI REG CBR AND HE IS ONLY AUTHORIZED TO TOUCH CBR INCLUDING WATER WASH. he scolded the watchman who was checking the chassis no because he was wearing watch and that could lead to scratches.they are strictly instructed not to wear watches while servicing cbr.
.had asked them to remove the saree guard so it was given in hand.he did explain quite decently regarding dos and donts.the odo had already run 18 kms .when asked about that he told they road test vehicles before delivery as sinstructed by HMSI.was happy to see foldable mirrors somewhere in some post i had learnt that cbr does not come with foldable mirrors.IMPORTANT THING MENTINED BY HIM WAS THAT I SHOULD NOT IGNITE THE ENGINE TILL THE VIBRATION IN THE TANK STOPS AFTER SWITCHING ON .so happily took it home around some 15 kms from showroom.
......registration process over was told i ll get my number tomorrow.
