There's some amount of goodness even when bad things happen; good that your ASC is treating you good; by the way all of us spoke that day, I think they would've though the entire CBR community is backing up you

That's how we tend to take; my first set was worn out at 10.8K; not sure how much the second one lasts; if that lasts for 10.8K too, then I'm quite OK with that interval. I'm more concerned about the front ones than the rears.

The reason why P220 brake pads are cheaper is because they material used in them is probably low metallic or semi metallic where as the ones on a CBR are ceramics or Non-asbestos organic pads. These are not as loud as the metallic ones and are a little more heavy duty.
No man I didn't put the P220's brake pads because it was cheap, rather at the time there was no cbr's brake pad's available(read spares availability issue). That's why me and most of the cbr's owners have opted P220's pads and also I didn't understand much of the technical things you told, but as user point of view there's absolutely no difference which I feel comparing P220's and stock.

By stress testing I mean a little aggressive riding, going over some potholes and basically making sure nothing is loose.

I think 11k for a pair of disk pads is good. I guess you can use them in combination with the rear so that the stress is distributed and they run longer... more like a HBS (human braking system)

The difference will be felt in how sturdy the brakes are and how frequently you have to change them. If there is a scarcity of parts why dont you buy a extra pair and keep, this is what i have done.

Yes agree with the point. Extra one - actually my bike was in the first lot and at the time when the pads worn out the spares(not even a single bolt) was available. so how could I reserve now.

Yes from Marikar Honda TVM its possible to get from sales counter. EVM Honda don't sell it. That's the case when i went to buy some parts for @Ajay Manohar. They sucks.

In Marikar spares i know the person there who updates me even when a bolt for CBR arrives. Pls tell me what are the parts you need. I will ask him and update you. Also I need some parts, so if it's there we can contact any xbhp TVM friends for that

Sure; the ones that I mentioned above are the ones I need. Though not urgent, but would like to have it handy. But the point is, they should be having them in stock, otherwise, its 1-2 hour task to sit with them, note down the part number & then place the order.
