This is awesome... the one from Perfomance racing is damn expensive.

Actually I am away from the bike for a few days so can't post the pic. Actually it's not as black as new CBRs. I've tried shampooing and polishing both but no help. Although it's not a big deal for me but if spray paint is fine then I'll go with it.

You will have to remove the wheel for it. Try only if you have a stand.

Best bet is youtube; overall this is what you need to do...
                  - Remove the rear caliper kit
                  - Remove the disc pads from it
                  - Replace the new pads & push the pads apart (expand) is so hard that there's more than sufficient gap for the disc to enter

The procedure mentioned here's the same - http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/do-yours...e-service.html

However, you don't need to remove the wheel to change the pads.

This is according to my service center. May be that's all the training they got to service a CBR.

Anyone got their CBR from Udai Honda (Adchini) or Malwa Honda (Lajpat Nagar) ? Any idea how good (or bad) are their ASC are?

Its not so difficult to to put it back. But care must be taken that the whole disk set assembly should not be taken. If it does air will get inside the tube and will get stuck as the wheels can't rotate otherwise bleeding should be done. If you are not skilled I would suggest to take it to SVC or a good mechanic.

Brother .. Thanks for your quick reply ! Just curious to know if I am going to take of the pin and then screw ... I would get the disk pads in my hand .. and from your post I could understand that its not difficult to put it back ...right ?

And also you have mentioned that the whole disk assembly should not be taken ? Now the question for me to you bro is .. Why and how would I take Disk assembly ? I mean why would I do that with just one pin and one screw or am i missing something of what you said ? Please advise Bro .. Thanks !
