I know that feeling. In the year and 4 months that I have had the CBR250R even I have never felt at one with the bike. It's no doubt more comfortable and more relaxing for long rides than the R15 and P220 that it shares garage space with, not to mention faster.
But I never could push the CBR as hard as I could the other two bikes, especially the amazing R15. The nitpick with the R15 is the lack of power compared to the other two bikes.
The CBR is fast, comfortable, but I 've never had that emotional connect with it.

Not at all. That shows that you care for your bike. The new owner is lucky to have a well-cared for bike.

Got this Mechanical ABS fitted today. Didn't expect a big difference, but it shows a huge difference in braking. Definitely a great VFM product.

Wow I have never heard of mechanical abs. Looks good, What was the cost and is it very easy to install.

Also I am planning to have some kind of good security device to my bike and also frame sliders. Anyone has any idea abut these ??

Its very simple to install. If you know to bleed your brakes, the you can install this too. Costs 750 each with KRP but they didn't get stocks in this for long time. Placed order in ebay for 930 each.

If you find any security device without splicing the OEM wiring, you can go for it. Else please stay away from it to stay out of trouble.

The amount of pressure on the rotors to lock a wheel on dry tarmac, wet tarmac, loose gravel, etc. would all differ, hence a mechanical ABS, by the definition of its name itself would fail to do its job under varying road conditions.
Paying an extra 30K to Honda for the ABS is VFM. After 2 years of ownership I think the bike is worth thanks to the ABS most of the other qualities of the bike are lacking like coneset, chain, brakepads, foot pegs, ignition key slot.

I never compared this to C-ABS, which operates based on sensors and loaded with artificial intelligence. This is a mere component which works based on hydraulics. This doesn't sense wheel locking but just periodically locks and unlocks the wheel. Does justice for price paid and improvises braking.

Didn't understand any of the above. Can you please elaborate?

I got my Bike and problem was Tensioner and Lifter Assy. These things changed and now I am not able to hear any noise from the engine...

Neither was I talking or comparing it with C-ABS I was talking about mechanical ABS as in your photos and how it would function/not function as an ABS.

elaborating: 2L spent on the bike of which 30K was VFM (the ABS part of the bike), balance 1.7L was not VFM.

Sorry. But what more can you expect out of quarter liter bike. I don't find anything non VFM in this. From the baseline torque to top end acceleration it is worth every penny spent. This is the only 250cc bike in India with least maintenance cost. Personal opinions. Not to start a war here. No offence!

Guys , got a new tank pad for my bike. The white paint is a night mare to maintain , expecially a white tank..the areas where our thighs rest /grip the tank...never faced such a problem with my black pulsar before...probably the positive of owning a black bike...:-D

Absolutely correct,I was also under the impression that CBR is maintenance prone cause a friends chain setup gave away @ 17000 kms & N250`s lasts for 40000 kms+ but when heard about the cost was silent, try comparing 2000rs to 14000rs.

From where did you get the tank pad. And how much did it cost. I am hunting for a good tank pad for a while now.
