Re: Honda CBR 250R
Yes, the rear tyre was stuck twice in the gravel on the uphill climb, a fellow rider had to push my bike to set it free, and while riding downhill the seating position did not help much.. In simple terms, it was a total offroad climb and descent. Which I personally would not like to do on my CBR again.Originally posted by hypheni View PostWhy last time ? Re: Honda CBR 250R
for doing offroad like these.. you should remove some air from the tyre.. get it to somewhere around 25ish and you will get far better traction and control... always drag your brakes while coming down. Dont panic brake it will always cause skidding...Originally posted by pronoy_banerjee View PostYes, the rear tyre was stuck twice in the gravel on the uphill climb, a fellow rider had to push my bike to set it free, and while riding downhill the seating position did not help much.. That's true, however it does not work where all you have are rocks and boulders [emoji6]Originally posted by theironhorse99 View Postfor doing offroad like these.. you should remove some air from the tyre.. get it to somewhere around 25ish and you will get far better traction and control... always drag your brakes while coming down. Took the baby CBR to Lavasa today.
In fact I'm writing this post from Herr sipping garam Chai.
The bike performs wonderfully.

Hi Karthick, you took CBR recently? Could you please let me know the details i mean waiting time, dealer etc.Originally posted by Karthick SR View PostGuys Honda CBR 250R is still in production line. There is no clue about new Honda CBR 250R with dual headlamp and Honda CBR300 R. Last week only my bike was delivered. I saw a Honda CBR 250 R ABS black at Chandra Honda. Please check it.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I booked the bike at Aadi Honda, Sathy Road, Coimbatore on 5th September and they delivered the bike on 21st November 2014. The dealer forget to place the order in the September month itself so that is the reason so for the long waiting period. if you want the bike immediately go to Chandra Honda, Mettupalayam Road, Coimbatore. where the black 250R ABS is looking for its rider.......

Re: Honda CBR 250R
If you do not have issues keeping your legs folded over extended hours and can tolerate a mild pressure on the palms, you would do fine. By long rides I understand more than 500 Kms.Originally posted by abdulsheikh007 View PostHow's the comfort on long ride ?

Re: Honda CBR 250R
If you can adjust a good riding posture its all good. Another part of long tours is how healthy you are. If you are in poor physical condition(not illness, fitness is what matters) you will not feel any stress at allOriginally posted by abdulsheikh007 View PostHow's the comfort on long ride ?

Re: Honda CBR 250R
R15 to CBR250R should be a very logical and appreciable upgrade if touring is what you intend to do.Originally posted by abdulsheikh007 View PostI currently tour on a r15 v2

Its got better power, lower stress levels from the engine at similar RPMs, a much more touring friendly riding position when compared with your current bike.
However, you might miss the extremely sharp handling inside city traffic. That flickability of the R15 is unmatched.
But for touring, you have asked your question on the right thread!

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Bike wise, yes it will the perfect jump. The comfort level will be really good. The riding position on the cbr is similar to the ninja , and less sportier than the r15, so it should be quite comfortable.Originally posted by abdulsheikh007 View PostI currently tour on a r15 v2

But from current scenario point of view. The CBR has stopped production , there is a revamped model(cosmetic) coming up and dealers now have only old stock or they are not accepting bookings, so do wait for a while before purchasing.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
CBR 250 is still the best tourer in India at 2 lacs budget. But the handling and agility has no match to the R15. But then, you have no other option, but to go with CBR. I would say, wait till march, untill the news of CBR300 becomes clear. Till then, enjoy your R15.Last edited by sambit; 12-05-2014, 10:19 AM.HH Dawn - TVS Star City - Yamaha Gladiator - TVS RTR 180 - Honda CBR 250R - Yamaha R3
