  • Re: Honda CBR 250R

    Ordered Philips Rally H4 100/90W & GE Rally H4 100/90W for my C250 headlights.

Spoke to Honda SVC mech whether it needs a relay, but he is strongly firm that CBR250 battery easily supports 100/90W bulb.
    No need of a relay.

But I am little skeptical over this, whether to go with Relay & wirring or not?
But seeing the performance only I will decide whether to go for PHILIPS Xtreme Vision H4 or OSRAM NBU or PHILIPS White\Cyrstal Vision or not.

Will stay away from India for next 6months. Thinking to sell my 1.5yrs old baby. Its ABS with 8500 done on ODO. What should be the quote for selling ?

Anything between Rs.1,00,000 - 1,10,000 should be a fair price.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

You can get 1.20 Lakh. But Finding right customer for CBR is a tough Job. You really need to wait atleast 1 month with patience to get the right value. If you are in a hurry you might need to compromise a little.

1.10 would be very less. Its ABS model. Do let me know if anyone you find with 1.4 or so at Kolkata. If the price go such low as 1 or 1.10 will keep it.

Yes OLX, QUICKR says the same. For a 8.5K on ODO with ABS should be priced 1.5L or above. Anyways I will keep my baby as I need to ride after 6months.

Well, talking about contigo's the sooner you change it the better. The "wear" on these tyre seems to never happen, i am running on a 18k kms run contigos and they still look brand new. And not to mention the shitty grip they provide.
So if you have enough moolah, then change it anyways, no matter how much of thread depth is left.

Even am waiting very patiently for the Conti-go to worn out(with 12k+ kms). But recently seen a tyre from ralson model "Blaster-Pro" with size 140/70-17(fitted to an FZ). So anyone have any idea about that new tyre?

                            Hello everyone,

Can anyone please put some light on Half clutch and full clutch operation ?

I was shifting gears with half clutch until 5300 Kms and now the mechs are saying, do not use half clutch as it will burn the clutch plates.

Please share the disadvantage of half clutch and also for full clutch operation, is there is any ?

                            Thanks,
                            Sanjay

No idea mate, What I heard is that the production is stopped, so i'm guessing maybe it is the 300r coming, but nobody can be sure until the official news is out.
