do you recommend I give it a try and then change the tyres or should I opt for mrfs straight away?

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Hi Sanjay, Dealer didn't charge anything extra + I asked them to give discount as my pearl sunbeam white was manufactured in August 2015. You can ask for the same to your Dealer.Originally posted by sanjaynk15 View PostHey buddy, did the dealer charge you anything extra for this? I'm going for pearl Sunbeam white.. The same colour as yours and I'm afraid the bike is going to come with contigos so I need to tell the dealer. Let me know as soon as possible

Re: Honda CBR 250R
If dealer is ready to swap with MRF for free of cost, opt it. Its better not to keep a worry in mind when you invest your hard earned money on a bit costly bike. but if they dont have option to swap the tyres, no worries. Contigo wont disappoint you for sure.Originally posted by sanjaynk15 View PostBro, I'm going with non-ABS variant that's why a little worried about contigos

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Beautiful. Rarely do dealers engage in such activity. Surprising to know that my CBR came with a pre-installed MRF Zapper series, perhaps post 2015 newer lots are shod with MRFs as standard. But MRFs offer good functionality.Originally posted by Rahul747 View PostMy TRI COLOR came with Continental, I asked the dealer to replace the Continental with MRF Zapper series which came with New CBR color variant..
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I went to the SVC kept the bike there and came home. the next day I went to the SVC to check the clearances myself in presence of the mech. The clearances were all fine, checked for the rocker arms and camshafts, none of them showing signs of wear and tear. After this I purposely asked the mech to check for timing chain, he just looked at it and said this is normal and refitted the block again. after everything was checkedI went home. The sound is still there
I have 2 spare chain tensioners with me one is damaged and one is new, the other one is fitted in the bike. So last Sunday I removed the existing CCT and plugged in the new one and then went on for a small 3Km ride I was still getting vibes on the tank and the handle bar and footpegs, not annoying though. came back home and then plugged in the old damaged one and the same sound was still there got frustrated and removed the CCT again and I put my fingers inside just to find out that the timing chain guide has a play in it (could this be cause of the noise and the mild vibes I am getting ? ) My next service is due in April and I am thinking of getting the timing chain and timing chain guide replaced. But before replacing them, can somebody put some light on the question I have asked ?

The gear lever is attached to the gear spindle with a bolt, you can loosen it and then adjust accordingly. But you cannot get a perfect match, either it will be very low or very high, very difficult to find a perfect match. I have tried this myself but failed.Originally posted by leech View PostGuys, what is the procedure for adjusting the gear shift lever? I feel its too high.

many owners swear by Amaron pro 7ah, you can get it at most battery shops. Not sure about the exact price but it could be around (1800-2000 rs mark).Originally posted by MAVERICK_m21 View PostWhich is there best battery & cost? I tried to locate on posts 7600 & 8200 but could not find

Re: Honda CBR 250R
I faced this issue too, multiple times after the bike turned 2 years old. It just turns off when riding- when clutch is pulled, either in traffic or when changing gears on the highway, engine suddenly shuts off. Happens totally randomly, and very dangerous.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostGuys today while riding my bike just turned off, its happened a while back when I was on a exhaust pipe, now on the stock pipe, on neutral bike just turns off, I need to keep the bike revved for it to not turn off, wat could be the issue?
When I took it to Honda Didar, they just poured wd40 in all the switches. It works for a couple of months, then again starts up.
So I'm planning to oil the switches every month, and see if this problem recurs. Previously, I used to wring the throttle every time before I start the vehicle, but that trick hasn't worked.

Re: Honda CBR 250R
Might be just the engine kill switch on the right side not all switches has to do anything with the issue. Slightly touch the engine kill switch and check if the engine switches off.Originally posted by leech View PostI faced this issue too, multiple times after the bike turned 2 years old.
