True, have covered more than 15K Km on touring with A* and it's a delight.
    Expensive but worth.
Best is you go over to the showroom and try all the products in your mind.
The only criteria is the protection should not be loose on your body.

        • Hi everyone,

I'm Vinaysh and I live in Chennai. I'm a biker at heart. I have been following this thread for a really long time. I really admire the kind of dedication and passion you guys have towards biking. There are some of you who are regular here and post valuable advice/tips. xBHP is the best biking community in India, thats for sure.

Coming to the bike, finally since I have the money to buy R15 V2, I'm going to book it next month. This will surely be my last bike. Its an upgrade from a Pulsar 150 UGIII.

I'm fully aware that color preference should be the owner/buyer's choice. But I would really like to hear from you R15 V2 owners the million dollar question - "Which color looks best on this bike?"

Racing Blue - Ruled Out as I'm sure I don't want it because its too standard and common right from V1.

          Now the choice lies between:

          SUNSET RED and MIDNIGHT BLACK.

          (OR)

Please suggest. I'm simply looking for something sporty, manly and classy. Something that will look fresh even after 5 years.

          Thank you SO much!

P.S. I will go for the 50th Anniversary LE White IF it is available next month but as far as i know, its all booked/out of stock at every dealership i've enquired in Chennai. But, incase it isnt, I would have to go for one of the regular ones. I don't like the Fiery Red Edition with its flame graphics.

Fiery red would have been the best colour if not for its graphics.
I vote for black. Or Just go for any colour and buy the body kit of all the other colours.

              • True, they ruined Fiery Red with the graphics.

Thanks for your votes, Ron Syl and Suraj.

@ Suraj: You should probably delete the images in your quote as its occupying a lot of space on this page. I could'nt resize them.

Heyy Vinaysh...I just love the Sunset Red..I myself was in a dilemma of color selection but luckily my dealer had all the three bikes standing next to each other..I ruled out black immediately coz it mixes in with the crowd unlike sunset red which due to its red and white combination stands out of the crowd...Only downside to sunset red is that the white panels get dirty very easily and you have to regularly clean them..If you can take care of cleaning regularly then it will remain fresh forever...If you can source the White/red LE then nothing like it but if not then Sunset Red is the color...

First of all in want to congratulate you for taking the decision of going for R15 v2. I have sunset red model and i personally feel sunset red would look best in this bike. Because, if you go for black, the edges and cuts on the bikes body work wont be highlighted.. as black color would not reflect mucj light which falls on it... the combination of red n white is best and after that comes the trade mark color, the racing blue...
As far as i know there are only 4000 units of limited editions to be distributed all over India.. so u can try your luck for the white one,, it really looks cool...

I am using the A* spx gloves. Its not a full length glove as how you wanted it. Do consider that before thinking of this particular model. No idea about Rjays. Haven't seen them even. Based on comments though, Rjays is best for jackets alone. I maybe wrong too.
