The bike is at the SVC and everything will get repaired under insurance of 95% of the total costs.. The total is around 5k.. Will have to pay 250 + 1st service charges..

Learnt a very good lesson..

I rode between 7.5k to 9.5kRPM.It was a Solo Trip buddy!
P.S: i dont think someone can do a 1000km+ trip on V2 with pillion Pillion's A$$ may get punctured

1. Nice to know! But in my case when i hit rev limiter in 3rd gear,it was not smooth after that. I felt a stutter in the bike until RPM came down.
2. ~30km/l ..seriously ? i also did ghats. In fact i have visited ooty twice in the last three weeks. never i got below 37-38. did u try to ride it like RX ??

Rode for almost 100 kms today ... tried to ride as every1 suggested at certain stretches it certainly works out good in the highways but the pain is there while driving in traffic may be i am not able to get the right seating posture .. it may be will take a few days to get accustomed too and also the fact that i am almost 6ft tall it might take some extra time to get used to the ergs of the bke .. i am trying to keep the bike below 5000 mark.. ( man its so tempting to just break free ) .. But its a dream to ride the bike in the highway .. damn pointed ... falling in love with the bike more and more ..

Between guys, anybody in Mumbai/Thane/Navi mumbai for R15 trip to the city or little outside?

Have done around 115 kms. Yesterday went for a 70km long drive in city. The bike did impress me. I lower end torque is good, can't compare it with the older version bcoz i never rode it. But this one seems to pull up pretty well. Just ripped the bike once to 5-6k rpm. I must say upto 4000 rpm it doesn't show its real skin but beyond that it behaves like a different machine. I felt like suddenly the bike has changed. It really gave me a lot of confidence on cornering. Did small twisties on it at 55kmph. Haven't checked the fe but according to the indicators it feels like it should give around 40+. Although its early to say but i felt the break to be better responsive than my FZ-S. I m damn happy with my bike. Have changed a few things like removing the saree guard & cut the mud guards to half. Then removed the front number plates & pasted the number on the front bumpers. As soon as i got the delivery i put the black racing Yamaha tank pad. Didnt notice much back pain , there was a bit of back pain when i did a long drive for around 35kms but that wasn't very significant. But certainly there was a lot of wrist pain, especially of the left hand & it increased with every time i pressed the clutch lever. Rest all the bike is awsome.
I have owned an FZ -s previously but now the way people look at me has changed. They are divided into exact two halves the one who stare at you & appreciate your steed & those who feel jealous & want to compete with you . Yesterday couple of dude on platina & dazzler were giving me some attitude & cutting past me every now & then. But i remained unresponsive so they went away. Fools although even if the bike was not in break in period i wouldn't have raced with them. Because i generally love to ride on low speeds & enjoy the ride. But there are times when the adrenaline rushes in & you gotta show them what kind of man you are.

Will be going for oil change next week.

On the day of delivery i saw a blue R15 2.0 on the signal & i stopped my bike just next to him. Looked at him, he smiled i smiled back. Then as soon as the signal turned green he showed me the real power of the bike & zoomed past everybody, felt great to loose to a fellow R15 2.0 owner.

Hey ya . The 10 th bike had got less scratches and the handle bar finishing part is pretty OK while compared to the other Bikes .. And that bike Impressed me , that's why ............

By the way when i visited the showroom 1 week back , about '5' 50 th anniversary got down from the Lorry .. And finishing parts of those bike was excellent . But unfortunately i had no money on that day to get my delivery from that lot .

Note- - They say this is the last lot . Hence no more 50 th anniversary will arrive ...

@Daytona: yeah man,hoping for the same. Plus,dont think these folks even know what a dyno is. Wonder if it'll be a case of trial n error in correcting the alignment. Biking spirit's really low.

@ABikerAtHeart - Cheer up dude, being a machine on the road such things are bound to happen. I had a fall on my earlier bike only a month back with bruises, I know how it feels but cant help it. Get back the aura ASAP

I had learned the lesson hard way I was bed ridden for more than 6 months with my R15 V1 head on at 125KMPh ( god knows how i was saved). My biking confidence was so low after that accident that I rarely cross 40KMPH and scare by sight of tractor with trolly on road. But now I am back to normal.

Always ride at 80% of top speed which you can handle.May be that 20% reduced speed may not be 100+( in your case 50kmph) but you can handle emergency well.

And don't depend on reaction, always perceive & anticipate.

Road is full of shocks & surprises.

Is it necessary to change the oil before 500kms . i have done 620kms and i could not get the oil changed.. should i immediately change the oil or wait for 1000kms ??.

Going by the Manual , not necessary ,, but i ve changed my Engine oil once before first service @ 500 kms pls refer

I personally think thats not possible , and calculate by reserve to Reserve (F) for better results
