Plz let experienced guys handle ur babyR.
2x55w won't work. Electricals won't support. As answered in reply to my email to yamaha.
They just suggested to adjust the focus.

The other I just happened to go to pro-biker on MG road. The guy there was installing philips 55w projector setup on this babe. When enquired about, he told me that the bulb will cost around 1000 per piece and for installing there were 2 options
    1. pay 200 as installation charges for each bulb which will include everything right from ballast to wiring so that would be 2000 bucks for bulbs and 400 for installing those..=2400/-
    2. pay 500 per side as installation charges and it will cover every minute thing caused while installing like if the fuse shorts out or for some reason the bulb goes kaput or even if any sensor/console goes bonkers it will be replaced without any extra charges. so in all that would take the total to 2000+1000, 3k for 55w HID's 6000k temperature.

As for the projector setup 1500 per side additional.. and yes one more thing battery will have to be put in.
I was telling the guy that the factory fitted battery in R15 wont take up so much load being a puny 3.5A.. He was hell bent on telling me ke "Sir R15 ki battery 9 A ki hai, 3.5A ki ho hi nahi sakti."

Well anybody going for any bulb change apart from this 55W thing ??
Few members are using the Blue 35w option and is marginally better.

    thats horrible
plz let me know if i am wrong anywhere.
well, as per manual, it needs greasing at 12000 Km. Yamaha guys would also suggest you not to go for it unless something went wrong with the ride.
But if you are a manual freak, go for it. I did as well.

Yup, but time is not in my hands, actually living on weekends, did you install it on your ride? Puspal a V1 owner said its a home job, plug and play types.
Putting in the bulb ? i saw a DIY somewhere and studied the guy who changed on mine. Pretty simple job.

Someone did posted a DIY somewhere. There are two visible screws just behind your lamps on dashboard. Use them to adjust the focus.
Don;t ask me which direction rotation does what, its quite simple.

and mate, there has to be some problem with your tyre. The tyres we have are the best industry has to offer.
Did someone told you that your tyre is gone or you took the call yourself ?

Don't worry, with power comes responsibility. You don't lost your hope in rossi if he gets hurt for a series. He is rossi, he'll strike back.
I don't think its tyre's fault. They aren't made to run on off-steel-roads.

Yes we can. You just need to plonk a bigger battery 5A.. kiss the warranty good bye and hitch your ride with projectors. Raneet here has done some amazing projector setup for his ride.
And as nastrofaction said Don't worry.. Shit happens. enjoy the ride with new set of rubber now

                              LOL +1

if its something related to a very bad puncture , then its not tyres fault.
