Maybe you should check again. If similar thing happens then take it to svc. And please dont keep on checking the console while riding on highways.

Attaching some pics of my ride to Goa. Even after 30k kms and almost 90% of red lining, this engine is still silky smooth, the gear shifting is buttery & precise. Love my bike

Thats a " SJCAM SJ4000+ 2k Gyro". Bought it from aliexpress. Comes with all accessories, wifi and gyro stabilizer. I specially bought an extra battery and external battery charger. I got it for $112 (incl customs) in a year end deal. A great alternative for even the higher variants of gopro. Video quality is amazing with a good battery life. I will share the videos on youtube tonight.

Sharing the link : Aliexpress.com : Buy SJCAM SJ4000 Series SJ4000 & SJ4000 WIFI & SJ4000 Plus 2K HD Video Resolution Action Camera Waterproof Camera 1080P Sport DV from Reliable camera cake suppliers on Puhui Digital | Alibaba Group

The seller Puhui digital is official partner for sjcam. I have email confirmation from SJCAM for the same.

          Hi Chirag,

Great to see you munching miles I have recently picked up a R15 S and just love her highway manners.

OT - Planning to pick up bionic knee guards, saw you wearing a pair in your pics. My concern is that these may end up scratching the bike, especially the underneath of the fuel tank where we usually grab the bike. Have your guards left any scratches?

Absolutely no scratches. Do you see any?

And yes R15s highway manners are good, but for corners even more. Everytime I ride her, I feel like I have just bought the bike.

And, Normally how long does the stock tyres last for everyone on an average? Isn't it usually around 20-25k km? Mine is currently at 15k.

Fully synthetic engine oil usually lasts for 4-5k kms minimum. I use Motul 7100 20W50.
Regarding tyre, I have also clocked 15k kms on stock MRFs and are still in good condition, can go till 20-22k kms easily.

I am using 7100 20w50 from last 20k kms. I change it every 4.5k kms as my riding style is redlining in every gear except 1st. I have seen guys using FS oils for 7k kms too.

My front tyre is still the stock one. Will change it now as the grooves are flat now, but it still sticks to the tarmac under hard braking. And regarding rear tyre, it had almost 7 punctures at 22k kms. Changed it just for the number of punctures it encountered. Usually tyres can last upto 25k - 30k kms if you ride 95% on good roads.

Surely it does. Its worth the money. The engine feels smooth and silent when cruising at 100-110 kmph . Definitely recommended oil.

Thanks for the replies guys. The reason I enquired about the tyres is because two days earlier, I caught up on a high side. Fellow riders said it "Might have" happened because of the tyres, cause MRF wouldn't last around 15k. But the tyres seemed fine for me.

The things was when was in full lean at the entry point, the side of front tyre wall caught in between the small bumps on the road and pulled me off. Was doing around 70-75 kmph and the bike is badly damaged. It was solemnly because of my stupid mistake to corner without noticing the surface of the road. The front master cylinder busted open, spilled all the dot 4 oil onto the fairings. And the paint came off at the spots on the fairings where it dripped. Tank has a huge dent. Any guesses on the cost for repairing the dent and the master cylinder would be helpful.

Brake fluid spilling over paint will have caused paint chipping and discoloration. If bike is under insurance , try to claim it.

That is my dilemma, the bike is infact under insurance and I'm in a confusion whether to claim insurance or fix the bike by paying for the repair with out claiming any insurance. Till date I have never claimed Insurance. I gotta consider all the facts such as no claim bonus, and stuff. And I also heard that the money paid by the insurance company will decrease by 20% for each claims. I'm a eal noob when it comes insurance and other legality stuff. If the cost of repair can be estimated then I can easily decide whether to go for or not.
