Attaching some pics from Xbhp Kerala Monsoon G2G which happened 2 weeks ago. Had to ride 300 kms in rain. Wow. Another different experience.

Did the first servicing today at 1000kms. Changed the engine oil and oil filter along with Teflon coat.
Bike feels smoother after first service and the gears have also become smooth to shift
perfect BTW how much were you charged for teflon? its a scam dont do it. rather do a normal polishing. FYI they will use the same polish and quote 450rs saying teflon and 30rs saying polish.

The kind of wobble/slight movement I am feeling in the handle is not sideways, like left or right...rather, the handle feels like it's loose or moving in the front & back..it's slight but I can feel it..plus, I have been going down that slope 5 days a week for last 3 years...it's quite smooth with no bumps...both on V1 and V2...did not feel like this earlier...under normal riding, the handle feels pretty fine...almost zero vibration or sideways wobbles...it's the downward slopes and under front-braking, the handle feels loose...for example, if right on the slope, I rapidly engage and disengage the front brake, I can feel looseness front & back in the handle...pretty weird, right...?
replying here leaving my breakfast aside lol

BTW now its pretty clear. You, my friend, need to take the bike to SVC asap as told by prakash (abikeratheart). its like you have a wound and you still continue not tending it. do explain the SVC guys properly, stand there and see what they do and get out checking that its solved (very important that you check everything properly)

Is it okay to ride continuously for more than an hour while the bike is in run-in period? Actually, This weekend some friends are planning a short trip of 400km(up-down). What things do I need to take care on such trip with a new bike?
        Odo: 510km

Take short breaks after 30-40kms , and try to worry less and enjoy the ride more.

Guys anyone facing issue like the engine turning off...? I hv been facing this prob for a couple of months now n I did tell the servicing guys to check, but they did not.. it doesn't matter engine is hot or cold, if I release the accelerator the engine goes off, even if I ride for 100 kms... but yeah it goes off once or twice in a trip... is this the prob with spark plug or air filter? I hope its nothing to do with fuel injection...

Whats your idle rpm setting ? on a cold engine the engine dying off frequently is attributed to a very low idle rpm, ie less than 1k, but then it should cause much problem when the bike is hot , as the idle rpm for a hot engine will be somewhere above 1k. Maybe yours is set really low.
Also what is the grade of the engine oil you are using ?

                  Cheers

Vivek i dont know how u missed out on asking this in YRC group

whats your ODO reading? did you change the spark plug from the one that was there when you took the bike? did you change air filter anytime before?

check the idle rpm, it should be around 1.4k rpm in these weathers, mine is 1.3k. and does this happen in first gear when you leave the clutch and try to accelerate? leaving the clutch too much before accelerating even little can cause that problem, happened to me too.

Hey guys finally got my baby R .In simple words I had to wait for 2 years!!
BACKDROP: I wasn't a great fan of bikes until I was 16 . That was when I rode one of my friends r15 and Oh boy! I fell in love. That was when I realised my love for bikes
immediately went home and asked my dad for one! And there can a bigNO "you are not getting a bike until your 18 son".And that was when my wait began!

FIRST RIDE: "handles like butter" got my bike with 2kms n the odo.The showroom guy told me that I shouldn't exceed 20 kmph for the first 50kms! BOOM! WTF seriously !??
i was pretty confident he was wrong and came back home not exceeding 50kmph ! And yes this is a looker .... People were just staring as they passed me and that felt great!

i just have a few questions
Any suggestions about which wax should I use while waxing?
                      and which lube?
                      thanks in advance
The equation is simple mate,If you can't REDLINE it you don't deserve it.

                            Congrats man

There are plenty of varieties in Wax polish.
You can go for Motomax or Formula-1 wax polish. They are available for both Metal and Dasboard polish.

For Lube, Motul is the best bet.

You will get it as a spare. How did it get into such a bad shape? It can only be through use of a wrong size wrench/ spanner or over torquing the bolt. Not a good way to treat you bike

I used a open wrench of correct size.. Later i came to know that i should not use open wrench... everytime it slipped i thought it opened, my bad it was broken edges... So i can go and get it at svc right??
