Yes, it's not a direct fit. The number of mounting nuts is more in the case of 390.Originally posted by sparxblood View Post

Complain at the police station immediately with regn. number, engine number and chassis number. Duke is not a common bike on our roads and hence, I hope, tracing out is easier.Originally posted by NY:17 View Postmy Duke 200 was stolen. If any of you can help in anyway pls do so.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Great Info... As he's looking for mad acceleration, I'm looking for a relaxed & increased top end.. After doing my fair bit, came to a conclusion of not reducing the rear sprocket but increasing the front by 1, to check whether or not the speed is limited..
Also, was unable to find any direct fit rear sprockets for D200, also the available ones are too small for a 39er (P220Fi)
Any more suggestions for a relaxed n increased topend or should I go with an increased front?
Cheers...

Karizma comes with a 40T or 41T at the rear, 4 mounting points AFAIK. You can look into that.Originally posted by Sanchit Arora View PostGreat Info... Re: KTM 200 Duke
Guys need urgent help.
Friend of mine needs to know the prices of the following parts:
1. Cylinder head (including valves, valve springs, camshafts, timing chain)
2. Fuel injector + fuel pump
3. Bore + piston & piston rings
4. throttle body
5. Multi-function display
If anyone can post the price list here that would be helpful if we'd need to refer the prices of more parts.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Hey I have a problem with my Duke. During gear shifts when i pull in the clutch, the revs stay at the same level and sometimes they rise by about 1000 RPM. This results in very jerky gear shifts. If I hold the clutch for more than 1-1.5 seconds then the revs start dropping. Changed the throttle cable but the problem still exists. Bike is more than a year old and about 18k kms run. Im suspecting a problem with the clutch but not sure. Would appreciate some ideas.

Are your clutch declutching properly?

This is what you all have been waiting for!
Alarm is auto armed when ignition is switched off, and disarmed when switched on. The unit provides three stages of alarm. Two warnings and final set off. Utilizes the bikes stock horn as acoustic alarm and the indicators as visual alarm. The dash light indicator informs if anyone has been tampering with with bike while I've been gone. The unit fits under the rubber strap that holds the battery in place. Black and red test probes are not a part of the final solution. =)

Firstly, welcome to xbhp.Originally posted by Tobbera View PostHello all!
Tobias here from Auckland, New Zealand. I found this forum and thread when Googling around for information regarding my new 2013 Duke 200 ABS that I bought a month ago. Seems like the biggest user base is in India, thats why I joined this forum.
Read somewhere in here that you experience a speed limit on your Dukes. I don't. It hits the rev limiter at about 136 kmh, that's all.
I'm also building a alarm and immobilizer for plug and play connection to the bike. Will post some pictures.

Secondly its a great initiative that you are developing the immobilizer system for duke. The ones available are way to costly in india, so a cheaper solution would be welcomed.
I have done a DIY visor for the duke. You can check the pics below.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Looks great on a neat little PCB. However, this unit does not seem to have any RFID reader. So, I guess the only sensor is a vibration sensor. Also, the stock horn does not have any interface in the alarm connector available on the bike. That means a wire has to be run separately to the horn.Originally posted by Tobbera View PostThis is what you all have been waiting for!

How is the current consumption? Should be low given that you are using a DC-DC power regulator.
I have been thinking of making one for myself using an RFID reader as a second key. I have a question, what is the voltage to be applied on the console LED line? 12V or 5V?Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

Re: KTM 200 Duke
@Serge, Chethan - Finally got rid off speed limiter
Speed limiter was removed last week by our in-house tinkerer
I am able to hit 126 in 5th gear, and was able to hold on to 138 in 6th gear for a long time without being thrown back by the speed limiter. 138 was hit without crouching.
Further testing is in progress, and our in-house Tinkerer is working on custom-made Air Filters.

Re: KTM 200 Duke
Thanks for your interest in my alarm system!
This version does not incorporate RFID reader, its armed/disarmed thru the ignition switch. RFID interface is going to be added later. The stock horn is utilized with a simple plug-and-play cable kit. It can also be accompanied with a proper siren if desired.
I have received interest in buying my alarm thru private messages. I'm thinking about assembling 10 of these for the ones of you that is interested. Any takers?Riding 2013 KTM Duke 200 ABS in Auckland.
