Then the problem is probably what I wrote in the second sentence. Your clutch lever switch. I dont really see the problem though. How often do you find yourself in a situation where the gear is engaged, the clutch is engaged and you happen to accidentally press the starter?

The common problem of tail tidy hitting the rear tyre hugger for those dukers who have left the tyre hugger.

Solution: Use a SS strip as show and bolt it inside the tail tidy tray, which can be opened from below by removing the screws.

The strip gives support to the tail and the hitting is gone.

Dimension drawing for the SS strip.

Rk, 140/70 17 fits our monster, so no issues...
I myself running on mrf that is 6.5k kms old... hopefully will run on them for 3k more. My next rubber change will most likely be pilot street... still analysing on pros and cons of downsizing from 150 to 140 (though many have confirmed there isn't any issues)
Also read on fb a guy in kerela did around 600kms on them and his feedbacks are really inspiring to move towards mich pilot street...

Thanks to all testers for your input on the KTM Duke Alarm! The rest of you might already have seen my posts in this thread about developing an alarm system for the new range of Dukes. Its has passed the prototype stage and have had in real life testing and evaluation. The feedback has been overwhelming positive, with only minor suggestions on improvement.

                      Among other upgrades are:
                      Sensitivity have been increased.
Power consumption has been significantly lowered to maintain battery charge when bike is parked for long periods of time.
Upgraded quality cable kit for the bike horn.
Shorter beep on alarm auto arm.

Here you go, the refined product is being manufactured in a limited number and is for sale the coming week. Its USD $189, free shipping to India.
