To Open the headlight assembly, remove two hex bolts below the handle and 4 plastic holders from the side 2 on each side.
To remove the plastic holders, use a screw driver to press lightly on the center part of the holder, the plastic rivet would move inwards, now you can remove the holder and rivet.

To install back, first pull the rivet out of the holder, insert the holder and push the rivet in till it is level with the holder.

Hope it helps, it took me around 20 mins to figure this out when i changed my headlight.

my chain is making some tak tak Noise while riding i did everything tightened the chain lube is cleaned it but nothing worked. Then i went to Kirti Nagar KTM (i live in New Delhi) the mechanic said you need to change the chain set i was shocked because its just 7000 how ca it be and i maintained the lubrication well . i have have a strong feeling something else is wrong here i just wanna know does anyone has faced this issue before ??? if yes what was the resolution
as @ vikundefined said, change the slider, it will fix the issue definitely. If you have a t-handle socket wrench, you can do the job yourself. If you remove the chain guard and loosen the chain then there is just 2 nuts holding it down from the top and bottom. You can change it without taking off the chain.

ok! i was thinking of the same problem will check and update if that solves the issue.

            Hi guys,
Noticed something interesting today...While in rains I applied the rear brake suddenly quite hard from 60ish, the rear tyre locked up and and the engine got cut off...had pulled the clutch so no worries..
But why did that happen?? Never experienced that before...Any thoughts on it??
I also felt a little weird mechanical movement while applying the brake hard...when the engine got cut off.
Doesnt feel anything wrong with the bike but just a curiosity..

Bro by cut off you mean engine switched off?
Because it happened with me, when the rear locked up the engine just shut off.
The reason could be when the rear locks up the speed falls below a particular gear can pull, hence engine stalls.

Be ready to get shocked when it comes to life of parts. My chain was up for replacement at around roughly the same mileage as yours. Actually what happens is that the chain links are stretched unevenly over a period of continuing wrist abuse by the excited riders. This results in the inability to tighten the chain beyond a point as a part of chain would be completely tightened and another part not. This situation would need a replacement after some time no?
Most of the things in my bike are new at 20K. Clutch plates were changed at around 9K too

t sure why the engine shut down, but I think I know what caused 'weird mechanical movement'. This must be due to a bit loose fitment of the rear brake assembly. Try grabbing the brake assembly(the black mass holding the discs with Bybre written on it) and try to check if it moves. Chances are it will which is what would happen when you slam the brake hard. Resulting in (little)relative motion between the assembly and the swingarm giving you that weird feeling. You need to tighten your rear axel nut(the same big one one which is unscrewed each time your chain is tightened)

Besides this I also think lubing the front sprocket once in a whille results in smoother operation. It's a DIY , one simply needs to open the black plastic sprocket cover for that.

Yes the engine stalled instantly on the lock up of the rear tyre..
Would that not happen if it had an ABS fitted..??

Abs would have taken all that with ease and you would have stopped without any problems.
People are becoming more and more careless these days specially pedestrians and auto drivers.

Bajaj please give ABS as an option.

The brake assy doesnt move when moved ...the axle nut hasn't been touched since the show room and same with the chain tension

If Rear brake locks up in gear the engine will stop...this is because the wheel is connected through sprocket, chain, and gears to the engine crankshaft,...so if wheel locks up,the crankshaft is prevented from moving...

Paid service starts from next time. 700/- Rs. for paid service.

Guys I'm in a bit of dilemma,
There is a rubbing noise coming from the rear sprocket side from the day one
Of the purchase. The sound is like two metallic things rubbing against each other.
Tried everything from greasing to cleaning and even taking the bike to svc.
I'm not able to figure out what's the issue, is it the rear wheel misalignment?
It increases with the speed and is audible only when the rider is seated on the bike.

Waiting for your valuable inputs (:
