      No probs.. But remember to use the search option first.. A lot of things have already been discussed and put to rest.

        High fives... Here is mine

        How many kms did you run it in for? Reason I am asking is, I did for 500kms and have been flogging it ever since.. Now I am concerned that I may not have ran it in properly.

            Finally got around to getting the Yamaha Fazer visor fixed on my 200 NS. 40 minutes later and here's the final product

            Had to explain in detail to the mechanic how I wanted the visor fixed since I didn't want any holes drilled into the bike fairing or damage the stock bike in anyway. Will be painting the silver supports over with black paint or cover it with black tape. Initial feel of the bike with the visor is good. No rattles or major vibrations.

            I will be going on a week long bike ride with a few friends this Saturday so should be able to get a better idea on how effective the visor really is. Wanted to fix something bigger to block the cold winds as it's gonna be real cold on the Konkan highway but anything bigger would mess up the looks completely.

            Big Thanks to the folks in the DIY section who fixed the Fazer & CBR visors to their Dukes. Also used a bit of inspiration from the Versys 1000 bike (google it) to get some ideas on fitting the windshield on the naked bike without much alteration Am Loving the visor on my NS

              Sorry for the Quikr watermarks on the previous pics :P

              Pics in better resolution. Was facing problems uploading pics via my mobile so uploaded them via the quikr app & then uploaded them to the xbhp site Just reached home and transferred the pics to my comp. Tada!! I know the visor fitting isn't the neatest job but I had to convince the mechanic a lot to try fixing it.

              Expenses:
              Yamaha Fazer visor = 270/-
              nuts, bolts + Aluminum L shaped strips for support = 60/-
              Labour = 150/-
              Tip = 10/-
              Total Expenses = 490/-

              Was seriously thinking of ordering the MRA windscreen for naked bikes but they are quite expensive..about 8k!!
              Tried contacting Hindustan Motorcycles to purchase their customized windshields for the Pulsar NS but they are either too busy or too arrogant to respond to emails!

              Any suggestions or feedback are welcome

                Tbh, it doesn't look very good. But I hope that it serves the purpose for which you've compromised on the looks. And good that you've not drilled anything. In future, if you need the stock look, you can do that easily.

                In some thread, I'd seen the cbr visor attached on the NS, and that, imo looked better.

                    Thanks MarkNS!! Yeah..Feedback accepted...I know it looks a shoddy job...but the visor seems quite firm. Once the silver strips fixed for support are taped/painted black, It should look a little less ugly

                    Will know how it holds this weekend. If it doesn't,I can just remove the bolts and get back the stock look.

                    Was tempted to try the CBR visor but it was an inch or two shorter than this one. Will prioritize performance and purpose over looks and appearance any day.

                        In old times horses were flogged (hit repeatedly with a stick) to go faster. By flogging I meant pushing the bike harder... Nothing for you to be worried about though

                            Ahahaahaaha... Yes yes.. But, you should take the babe out on a date some time.. And see what it can do. Just a suggestion!

                            I am at c1600kms on the odo and planning to clock c4000kms by 20th of next month, so that I can give it for 2nd free servicing. I have a really long ride planned up later in December. Let's see how it goes!

                                What I'm saying is bro that there is enormous traffic in areas in Delhi such as Punjabi Bagh, Karol Bagh, South Ex, etc etc.....and if you live long and want to ride all your life so please drive in such speeds in which you don't face an bad accident and you don't cause trouble to others.....
