Overhaul master cylinder and replace m/c kit (rubber parts)

Hey Narayanan,
Thanks for the idea.I have finished installing the brace bar.It cost me around 300 totally.I got metal water pipes welded and fixed in the mirror stem.It has a solid fit and there are no vibrations.I have bought a bike charger and a phone mount and will post pictures with that too.
I actually got this idea from this video:

I modified the design slightly.
Thanks anyway

hello Mohan,
i dont know about the possibility of importing it but i had asked Irevs in chennai and they had quoted 4500 for it.It was way too costly and hence i got a brace bar made.I would suggest go to a welding shop and tell them the kind of design which you think suits the bike the most and fix it in the mirror stem.Cost effective too.Irevs had sent me some pictures and i am attaching the same.Click image for larger version

I used the iron water pipes[1/2 inches].The measurement of the entire rod is 15 inches.I used spray paint for painting.
Hope this helps.

Pretty slick work mate !!! I was also thinking of iron pipes however did not explore that option much because of two factors-

1. Weight
2. Rust (since I do not plan to paint it but put a brace bar cover up on it)

But taking nothing away.. Its a job well done !!!

What action camera?. Can yi or gopro or sjcam?. I think these three are the most popular ones while Gopro is priced insanely. I'm also trying to source one, could you share the item that you have ordered?.

I have ordered the Sj4000 from aliexpress.I am expecting it to be delivered by january ending. If you are looking for something better i would suggest you buy the Sj5000x Elite. It costs around 8.5k and including mounts and accesories it would cost 10k.Whatever camera you buy be sure to buy extra batteries.Dhl has quick shipping and saves you the hassle of searching for your product from customs but costs about 3k+custom duties.

Thanks @sayantan. I've always thought Aliexpress is a whole sale ecommerce agent and will not ship single item ;-)

I had choices between SJCAM 5000 wifi and Yi. Ignored GoPro for it's cost and just a minute image improvement.

But Yi seems budget friendly and I don't have a monitor/TV to play beyond 1080p. Yi costs 88$ + 12$ accessories in US. But anyway without accessories it costs 6.3K through ebay which seems good because delivery is hardly 3-4 days.
@kany1991, Thanks for the link. Added to cart, looking for some coupons . I don't need the stick anyway, what I need is mount. bro any link for waterproof roofing or accessory that will fit with gopro stickers/adhesives?. Checked Amazon, but couldn't find anything better.

The welding rod finish levels are neat and the way you have placed the pipe to help unblock the display is a wise idea. Good work bro. Where do you stay?. I'm interested in adjustable lever mods, do you have any idea where they do it?. I just don't trust random road side workshop for that. Maybe have to check GP road, but that's way too far to travel frequently.

Don't know if GauravD has any tough time in seeing the console when sitting upright.

Usually, to speak in terms of electronics, a blown capacitor or a malfunction can cause the circuits to charge up slowly. But a completely damaged cap will break the circuit. So I believe something is wrong with the dashboard electronics. Did you make sure your battery has enough juice?. As far as I remember, older NS didn't allow console to turn on without engine ignited (not just the key, maybe to prevent excessive discharge) because (I remember some Ns fella long back said this) the console lights, display with parking alone took just 23 minutes to completely discharge 12V-8Ah Battery , hence Bajaj purposefully didn't allow console lights and parking lights to turn on without engine running.

So, do you still get digital display, tacho needle swing along with lights? or just light comes up, but no display at all?.
